Choose the vivo V60 if you value a dedicated telephoto camera, a larger listed battery and 90W charging; consider the Samsung Galaxy A56 if its Samsung ecosystem or a lower verified price better suits you. Their screens are similar in resolution and refresh rate, but the V60 is slightly larger. How do their cameras differ?
Vivo V60: dedicated telephoto hardware
vivo lists a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Its product page uses the marketing label “50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera.” The additional telephoto camera gives the V60 a distinct hardware option for zoomed-in framing and portraits.
Samsung Galaxy A56: three listed rear cameras
Samsung lists 50MP, 12MP and 5MP rear cameras. The cited specifications do not establish a dedicated telephoto camera on the A56.

These differences show camera-system emphasis, not photo quality. Megapixel counts and ZEISS branding do not demonstrate that one phone takes better pictures; that depends on image processing and real-world results that the manufacturer specification pages do not compare.
Which has the better battery and charging setup?
Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical battery for the Galaxy A56, while vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 90W charging for the V60. Those figures make the V60 the stronger option on listed capacity and charging speed. They do not establish how many hours either phone lasts or how long a full charge takes in practice; usage, network conditions and charging conditions matter, and the cited specifications do not provide a controlled comparison.

Are the displays noticeably different?
Both screens are listed as AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The A56 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display; vivo lists the V60 at 6.77 inches and 2392 × 1080. The V60 is slightly larger on paper, while the listed resolution and maximum refresh rate are close. The specifications do not establish a broader display-quality winner.

Which phone is lighter and easier to handle?
Samsung lists the A56 at 198g and 162.2 × 77.5 × 7.4mm. vivo gives different V60 weights by color: 192g for Mist Gray, 200g for Auspicious Gold and 201g for Moonlit Blue; it also notes that dimensions vary by color. As a result, the Mist Gray V60 is listed as lighter than the A56, while the other two listed colors are slightly heavier. Check the exact finish if weight matters to you.

What is the price difference in India?
On October 7, 2026, vivo’s India store listing showed ₹41,999 for the V60 8GB/128GB. The store also displayed 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configurations, but the cited material did not establish prices for those variants. See the vivo India V60 8GB/128GB listing.
A 91mobiles comparison page showed ₹36,999 for the Galaxy A56 and ₹41,999 for the V60, but that page is a dynamic third-party snapshot, not a guaranteed current offer.
