91mobiles reports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display for the Redmi. The cited Xiaomi catalog listing does not provide a full specification sheet, so its refresh rate, resolution and screen protection are not established by the official source used here. Treat the reported size and panel type as third-party details, not a confirmed official specification.

Chipset and memory: similar reported processor, different RAM listings
91mobiles lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and Android 15 for both phones at the time captured, and reports a 4 nm process. Those are third-party comparison details; the cited official Xiaomi listing confirms the Redmi’s 6 GB/128 GB option but does not expose a full spec sheet.

Cameras: A36 specifications include optical stabilization
Galaxy A36 5G
Samsung lists three rear cameras: 50 MP, 8 MP and 5 MP, with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 12 MP front camera. OIS is a stated hardware feature; it does not by itself establish that the A36 takes better photos than the Redmi.

Galaxy A36 5G
Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical-capacity battery and 45 W charging. The company says the travel adapter is not included in the box, so check the package contents and compatible charging requirements before buying a separate adapter. Samsung also specifies IP67 protection. An IP rating describes tested ingress protection under defined conditions; it should not be read as a promise that water damage is impossible.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G
The cited Xiaomi catalog page does not establish the Redmi’s battery capacity, charging rate, IP rating or included accessories. Do not infer that those features match the A36 from the processor or screen comparison; check the exact regional product page and retail package.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy A36 5G if the verified specifications matter most to you: Samsung publishes its 120 Hz Super AMOLED display, OIS-equipped rear camera system, 45 W charging, IP67 rating and six-generation OS/six-year security-update commitment. Its captured official price is for 8 GB RAM.
