Samsung confirms the Galaxy A36 5G, but the official POCO pages available for this comparison describe a different-named model, POCO X8. They do not establish that POCO X8 and “POCO X8 Power 5G” are the same phone. Treat the POCO specifications and reported price as unconfirmed for the model in the title.
What is confirmed about the Galaxy A36 5G?
Samsung’s India product page lists these Galaxy A36 5G specifications. They are manufacturer claims for the India listing; check the local model page before applying them to another market.

Why the POCO X8 Power 5G specifications remain uncertain
The official POCO specifications page located for this comparison is explicitly for POCO X8, not POCO X8 Power 5G. It lists a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, an 8,340 mAh typical battery and 67 W charging; it also says a power adapter is not included in the box. Those figures cannot safely be assigned to POCO X8 Power 5G unless an official listing confirms the names refer to the same handset.

Are the reported prices comparable?
Third-party comparison listings show ₹31,999 for the Galaxy A36 and ₹35,999 for POCO X8 Power 5G, and one listing reports a September 4, 2026 launch date for the POCO name. These are unverified database snapshots, not confirmed current prices. The available information does not establish the POCO model’s identity, matching storage configurations, retailer, stock status or offer terms. The apparent ₹4,000 gap should therefore not be treated as a verified price difference.

The Galaxy A36 5G has a verifiable Samsung India specification listing and a stated software-support commitment. The official POCO pages discussed here verify information for POCO X8 only. Until an official product page or retailer listing confirms the exact POCO X8 Power 5G identity and its configuration, there is no sound basis for declaring a specs winner or a current price winner.
