For buyers in India, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has the lower listed price in the available snapshot, while the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has the longer reported software-support commitment. Smartprix’s comparison, marked updated October 7, 2026, lists ₹22,950 for Motorola and ₹26,990 for Samsung—a ₹4,040 gap. Those prices may cover different storage configurations, so treat the difference as indicative, not a like-for-like deal.
India price snapshot: Motorola is listed lower, but check the variants
Smartprix lists the Galaxy A36 5G at ₹26,990 and the Edge 60 Fusion at ₹22,950 in an India-market comparison updated October 7, 2026. The difference is ₹4,040 by subtraction. The same comparison shows 128 GB of storage for Samsung and 256 GB for Motorola, so it does not establish that these are equivalent configurations or current checkout prices. Check the comparison and verify current prices for the exact RAM and storage versions available to you.
Do not treat the figures as manufacturer list prices or apply them outside India. Another comparison page displays an Amazon price for the Edge 60 Fusion, but does not establish a current live offer or a matched configuration. TechRadar’s July 18, 2025 review reported UK and Australia availability at that time and list prices of £299 and AU$699 for the 256 GB model; those are historical figures, not current prices. See TechRadar’s review.

Display: higher listed resolution on Motorola
Both phones are listed with 6.7-inch displays and 120 Hz refresh rates. Smartprix gives the Edge 60 Fusion the higher resolution, 1220 × 2712 versus the A36’s 1080 × 2340. TechRadar’s 2025 review also reports a 2712 × 1220, 120 Hz display for the Motorola model it covered. These are specification differences; they do not by themselves establish which screen looks better in everyday use.

Software support: Samsung has the longer reported commitment
91mobiles lists six years of OS and security updates for the Galaxy A36, compared with three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the Edge 60 Fusion. That gives Samsung the longer reported support runway, which may matter if you plan to keep a phone for several years. Treat these as figures reported by 91mobiles, rather than a confirmed universal policy for every regional model; check each manufacturer’s official support terms for the phone sold in your market. See 91mobiles’ comparison.
Battery and chipset details depend on the regional model
The available specifications conflict on the Edge 60 Fusion. Smartprix lists a 5,500 mAh battery, while TechRadar’s 2025 review lists 5,200 mAh. The sources do not establish whether this reflects regional variants or an error, and capacity alone does not show how long either phone lasts between charges.

- International Model – Global Connectivity - This device is compatible with T-Mobile, networks in the United States. Compatible with AT&T and Verizon on 4G LTE. Not compatible with most MVNO carriers that use Verizon's network. MVNO's like Metro, Boost, Mint etc. require IMEI activation. Its MVNO's in the U.S., as some carriers may not recognize International IMEI's as Compatible. (No U.S. manufacturer warranty; Seller Return policy applies.)

There is a similar chipset discrepancy: 91mobiles lists a Dimensity 7400 and 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options, while TechRadar lists a Dimensity 7300 and 8 GB RAM for its reviewed configuration. Check the model number and local specification sheet before comparing variants. The available sources do not provide a controlled performance comparison, so these chipset listings are not a basis for claiming that one phone is faster.
Camera features: compare the hardware, not untested photo quality
Smartprix lists a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide and 5 MP macro rear-camera setup for Samsung. For Motorola, it lists a 50 MP main and 13 MP ultrawide camera, and describes the ultrawide as supporting macro vision. These are differences in listed camera configuration, not evidence that either phone takes better photographs. The available material does not establish results from a controlled camera comparison.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if its lower listed India price holds for the RAM and storage version you want, or if the higher listed display resolution is more important to you. Confirm its battery and chipset specifications for the exact regional model.
- Consider the Galaxy A36 5G if the longer software-support period reported by 91mobiles is a priority. Check the current price for the storage configuration you need before comparing it with Motorola’s listing.
- Compare matched versions before paying. The cited Smartprix snapshot pairs 128 GB Samsung storage with 256 GB Motorola storage; the listed price gap may therefore not reflect the difference between equivalent offers.
91mobiles reports launch dates of March 2, 2025, for the Galaxy A36 and April 9, 2025, for the Edge 60 Fusion. See its comparison.
