For India, the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has a clearly documented specification sheet and September 2025 launch prices; the vivo S2 5G details below come from a vivo Community unboxing post. The S2 is reported to offer a larger, sharper, faster-refresh display and higher-capacity battery, while Samsung documents six Android upgrade generations, six years of security updates, and microSD expansion. A definitive current price gap is not established: the available price figures are from different sources and dates.
