There is no safe, reliable teardown sequence for every Samsung front-load washer. Before dismantling yours, identify its complete model code and region, check whether Samsung’s symptom-specific troubleshooting resolves the problem, and locate the repair guide and parts diagram for that exact variant. A sequence from another model—or a generic video—may not match your washer.
Find your washer’s complete model code and region
Start with the product label on the washer and record the full model code, including any suffixes, along with the country or region where the machine was sold. Those details help distinguish models that may have different support documents and parts. Use Samsung Support to search by model code or product name, then open the support page that matches your washer.
If you need help locating the document, Samsung also provides guidance on how to find your user manual. Do not assume that a manual or repair guide with a similar model name applies to your unit.
Check the symptom before opening the cabinet
“Dismantling” may be unnecessary for the fault you are trying to fix. Samsung’s washer troubleshooting resources cover error codes and common problems, including draining. For a suspected drain or filter issue, first review Samsung’s information on cleaning the debris filter and emergency draining, as applicable to your washer and situation. Follow the instructions that match your model; do not force access to a component simply because a video shows it being removed.

Get the matching repair guide and parts diagram
On the support page for your exact model, look for the repair guide and any exploded view or parts list. These documents are model-specific: Samsung support pages can list different files, revisions, and document availability. For example, the WW10FG5U34AE support page showed English repair-guide files modified in May and September 2025; that does not establish which guide applies to a different model or region.
Use the matching guide to determine whether your intended repair requires removing a panel, disconnecting a component, or going deeper into the washer. Use an exploded view or parts list to identify a component, then confirm compatibility against the complete model code before ordering anything. Samsung provides these diagrams and lists on some model support pages, not necessarily all of them.

What tools might be involved?
Tool requirements depend on the washer and the repair. As one generic example—not a verified requirement for your model—RepairClinic’s 2013 Samsung front-load disassembly video lists a multi screwdriver, Phillips bit, 10 mm and 19 mm sockets, rubber mallet, needle-nose pliers, and flat-head bit. Treat that list only as an illustration of tools that may appear in a teardown. The matching repair guide should determine what you actually need.

A model-aware preparation checklist
- Record the complete model code and the washer’s sales region.
- Describe the symptom and check Samsung’s official troubleshooting for that issue before planning a teardown.
- Find the repair guide for the exact model and region; check its revision or modified date where shown.
- Look for an exploded parts diagram, and verify any part against the full model code.
- Use a generic tool list only as a starting point. Do not infer a fastener, connector, panel-removal order, or part sequence from another model’s video.
