You can’t select Apple’s emoji design through Samsung’s documented keyboard settings. You can change how the Samsung keyboard looks, or send image-based stickers, but neither option replaces the standard emoji artwork on your Galaxy phone.
Can you change Samsung emojis to iPhone emojis?
Samsung’s documented keyboard settings do not include an option to switch standard Galaxy emoji glyphs to Apple’s designs. Samsung Keyboard supports features such as themes, layouts, font sizing, custom symbols, emoji insertion, and stickers, but these are not an Apple emoji-style selector. Samsung’s keyboard settings guide describes those customization options.
It helps to separate three things: the keyboard interface you type on, standard emoji characters, and image-based stickers. Changing the keyboard’s appearance affects the interface; sending a sticker adds visual content to a message. Neither is documented as changing the system emoji font. Samsung notes that available screens and settings can vary by carrier, software version, and phone model. Samsung Canada’s keyboard guidance covers these features and variations.
What you can do on a Galaxy instead
Change the keyboard’s appearance
Samsung Keyboard lets you customize aspects of its appearance and layout. Good Lock’s Keys Cafe also offers keyboard key styling. Send a sticker for a custom visual
If your goal is to put a different-looking image in a message, use a sticker rather than a standard emoji. Samsung documents sticker features, including sticker integrations and custom sticker-pack creation through Keys Cafe. A sticker is image-based content, not a replacement for the emoji characters on the phone.
Try another keyboard, with the same distinction in mind
Samsung supports selecting a third-party keyboard on Galaxy devices. A third-party keyboard may offer its own sticker or image features, but that does not establish that it can replace Samsung’s system emoji glyphs with Apple’s designs. Check the keyboard’s device compatibility and privacy details before installing it; availability and settings may differ by model and software version.

What Apple offers on an iPhone
On iPhone, Apple documents inserting emoji from the keyboard and changing the skin tone of certain emoji by touching and holding them. Apple’s iPhone emoji guide explains those options.

Apple also documents Genmoji on supported iPhones and configurations. Availability depends on factors including device, language, and region. Genmoji creates custom visual content; it is not a setting that converts Samsung’s standard emoji glyphs to Apple’s. See Apple’s Genmoji guide for the supported-device and availability details.

Will an emoji sent from Samsung look like Apple’s on someone else’s phone?
The cited support documentation does not establish how every messaging app and receiving device renders standard emoji sent from a Galaxy phone. The recipient’s app and device can affect what appears on screen, so do not assume that changing your keyboard theme or using a sticker changes how a standard emoji character looks to someone else. Why menu names may differ
Samsung says that keyboard screens and settings can vary by wireless service provider, software version, and phone model. If a setting described in a support page does not match your phone, check the keyboard and language settings available on your Galaxy or consult support guidance for your model and region. Samsung’s regional support page specifically notes that variation.
