Samsung Art Store’s new partnership with the Artists Rights Society (ARS) starts with 33 LeRoy Neiman works for select Samsung Art TVs. The launch collection is licensed through ARS for digital display; Samsung says it is available on eligible models including The Frame and The Frame Pro. In the U.S., premium Art Store access is a separate subscription, currently listed at $4.99 monthly or $49.99 annually.
What the Samsung–ARS partnership includes
Samsung announced the partnership on October 1, 2026. It gives Samsung’s curation team a direct route to collaborate with artists and estates represented by ARS, a U.S. visual-art intellectual-property and licensing organization. The first collection features 33 works by American artist LeRoy Neiman (1921–2012), marking the first time his art has appeared in Samsung Art Store. Samsung describes Neiman’s subjects as including sports, celebrity, boxing, the Olympic Games, jazz clubs, and casinos. Samsung’s announcement says further collections are planned for later months but does not identify their artists or a schedule.
This is a licensing and distribution arrangement, not a sale or transfer of ownership of the artworks. ARS says it facilitates licenses for digital display and connects artists and estates with audiences through platforms such as Samsung Art Store. ARS also says rightsholders are compensated when their intellectual property is used on the service; the organizations have not disclosed the agreement’s specific payment terms.
Which Samsung TVs can display the collection?
Samsung identifies The Frame and The Frame Pro, along with select Art TVs, as devices for the Neiman collection. Its October announcement also names select Micro RGB, Neo QLED, Micro LED, and OLED S95H products as having Art Store access. That does not mean every model in those families supports every art feature: eligibility varies by exact model and region.

Art Store access and Art Mode are related but distinct features. Samsung’s current product information lists Art Store support across several product families, while its FAQ identifies Art Mode on The Frame and OLED S95H, subject to model-year and regional variation. Before buying or subscribing, check the exact model number against Samsung’s current listing for your country. Compare the features that matter to you, including Art Store compatibility, Art Mode, screen size, and display and design characteristics.
What does Samsung Art Store cost?
As of October 3, 2026, Samsung’s U.S. Art TV page lists premium Art Store access at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Samsung’s October 1 partnership announcement gives the monthly price as $4.99 plus taxes and fees. Prices and availability can change, so confirm the current terms in your region. The subscription is separate from the television.

A subscription is not required to use a Samsung TV to show your personal photos, and Samsung says some artwork is available free. A subscription is required for the premium on-demand catalog, which Samsung describes as containing more than 5,000 artworks. The newly announced Neiman collection is presented as part of the Art Store; check the service’s current catalog and subscription terms for access details.
What ARS and Samsung say about the artists and rights
ARS’s September 30, 2026, statement describes its network as more than 122,000 artists and estates. Samsung’s October 1 release separately describes ARS as having a global membership of more than 120,000 painters, sculptors, photographers, and illustrators. These are figures reported by the two organizations, not independently audited totals, and neither announcement explains the difference.

The partnership creates a channel for licensed art to appear on home displays. ARS Vice President and Director of Business Development Katarina Feder said the organization works to connect artists with audiences through licensing agreements that respect their practices. Samsung Director of Business Development Kyle Menges said the company aims to recognize and compensate the estates entrusted with artists’ legacies. ARS’s own statement says rightsholders are compensated for use of their intellectual property on Art Store.
How to get art on a Samsung TV
- Confirm compatibility. Check the exact TV model on Samsung’s Art TV page and verify Art Store access and any Art Mode support for your model and region.
- Open Samsung Art Store on the TV. Browse the available collection, including the LeRoy Neiman works where offered.
- Choose access that fits. Display personal photos or select free artwork without a subscription, or subscribe for the premium on-demand catalog. Review the price and terms shown for your region before subscribing.
What to expect next
Samsung and ARS say more collections are planned, but their September and October 2026 announcements do not give a full lineup or release calendar. The partnership may bring additional licensed artists and estates to the platform over time; specific names and dates should be treated as unannounced until the companies publish them.
