The $949 Cyber Monday price is unverified. The available 2025 deal coverage reported a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 for $898 at Amazon and a separate offer for $999 at Best Buy—not $949. Those are historical prices, not confirmation of a current deal, and the exact model tied to the $949 figure is unknown.
What did Cyber Monday coverage actually report?
Tom’s Guide’s December 1, 2025 roundup listed a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 at $898 on Amazon and a separate Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 offer at $999 at Best Buy. Tom’s Hardware’s November 30, 2025 search-result extract also identified the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G93SC at $898 on Amazon. These publisher-reported prices establish neither a $949 offer nor today’s price or stock.

Which Samsung monitor is the listing likely describing?
The best-supported match is a 49-inch model in Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G9 family. The sources do not establish the exact model code for a $949 listing, and similarly named G9 offers should not be assumed to be the same monitor. Tom’s Hardware identifies its $898 Amazon offer as the Odyssey OLED G93SC and describes it as QD-OLED; Tom’s Guide’s listing calls its product an Odyssey OLED G9 without confirming that code.

How to check a live listing before buying
- Confirm the model code. Match the retailer’s exact model number to the product you intend to buy; a family name alone is not enough to distinguish G9 variants.
- Verify the current price and availability. Check the retailer’s live product page rather than relying on a past Cyber Monday roundup.
- Compare the listing’s specifications. Check panel type, 49-inch size and aspect ratio, resolution, refresh rate, response-time claim and connectivity against the specific model listing.
- Compare like with like. Make sure prices refer to the same model and retailer terms before treating one offer as cheaper than another.
