Who is making the feature?
According to TheWrap’s October 1, 2026 report, Lionsgate acquired the project from Universal. Chase Infiniti is attached to star, and Clark will direct and co-write the screenplay with Joe Russo. Russo is also a producer. Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele are producers through Ghost House and Monkeypaw Productions, respectively. What have the filmmakers and studio said?
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson described the team as having “all the ingredients for a film that is haunting, thought-provoking, and scary as hell.” That is the studio’s promotional assessment, not a critical judgment.
Clark said he was pleased that the project had found a home at Lionsgate and welcomed Infiniti to the team. He also praised her performance in One Battle After Another.
