As of September 30, 2026, there is no verified confirmation that NVIDIA has paused RTX 5060 Ti 16GB production. Availability appears uneven: NVIDIA’s marketplace showed some partner cards out of stock, while recent retailer snapshots still listed the card—often at prices far above its $429 launch price. A live listing is not proof that a specific seller has stock ready to ship.
Is the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB discontinued or still being made?
Neither conclusion is established by the available evidence. NVIDIA’s official marketplace showed ASUS PRIME and MSI 16GB models marked “Out of Stock” when checked, but that label describes those marketplace listings at that time; it does not establish that the entire product line is discontinued.
Likewise, retailer listings do not prove that NVIDIA or its board partners are continuing production. No direct official confirmation of a production pause was found in the NVIDIA materials covered here. Treat the pause as an unresolved rumor, not a confirmed announcement.

| Source and check date | Reported RTX 5060 Ti 16GB price | What the figure establishes |
|---|---|---|
| PC Gamer, September 17, 2026 | Newegg: $779.99 Best Buy: $788.99 Walmart: $788.99 |
Retailer price listings on the check date; not a guarantee that every seller had the card available to ship. |
| PC Tech Vault, Amazon US snapshots, September 16, 2026 | $638 and $789 | Two listing prices captured that day; seller-level stock and listing terms can differ. |
| PC Tech Vault, Amazon snapshot, July 31, 2026 | MSI Ventus 2X OC Plus: $570 | A dated listing snapshot for that specific model, not a current quote. |
| NVIDIA Newsroom launch announcement, April 15, 2025 | $429 | The announced launch price for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, not a promise that current retail listings will match it. |
The September retailer figures are roughly $350–$360 above the announced launch price. That gap shows how far the reported listings had risen; it does not by itself identify the cause, establish a typical market price, or prove a shortage.
Why a product can appear listed but not actually be in stock
A retailer product page can remain online when a particular seller is sold out, when only marketplace sellers have units, or when the displayed price belongs to a different seller than the retailer itself. NVIDIA’s “Out of Stock” marketplace labels and the dated retailer listings therefore describe different parts of the buying picture, not a single nationwide stock status.

Before ordering, verify the specific offer rather than relying on a search result or product-page headline:
- Seller: Check who is fulfilling the order and whether the offer is from the retailer or a marketplace seller.
- Dispatch and delivery: Look for a stated shipping date and confirm the item is available to ship, not merely back-orderable or listed.
- Exact model: Confirm the product is the 16GB version; the RTX 5060 Ti is also sold with 8GB.
- Condition and returns: Check whether the card is new and read the return window and conditions.
- Warranty region: Confirm the warranty applies where you live and who handles service.
How to judge a specific RTX 5060 Ti 16GB offer
When several cards are genuinely available, compare the delivered total and terms, not just the listed price. The $429 figure is a useful launch-price reference, but the checks above show that later listings could be substantially higher.

What the 16GB model is
NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 Ti uses its Blackwell architecture and is offered in 16GB and 8GB GDDR7 configurations. The 16GB model has 4,608 CUDA cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores, and fourth-generation ray-tracing cores, according to NVIDIA’s product specifications. Check the memory capacity in the exact listing: the 8GB card is a separate configuration, not another name for the 16GB model.
