On May 28, 2025, MobileSyrup reported that Rogers had added 25GB of data to three select bring-your-own-phone (BYOD) plans. The reported options ranged from 125GB of Canada-only data at $65 per month to 275GB of Canada/U.S. data at $95 per month. Those figures describe the offers reported at that time—not confirmed prices or availability today.
Which Rogers plans got the extra 25GB?
MobileSyrup’s May 28, 2025 report listed three BYOD configurations. The $65 plan included Canada-only data; the two higher-priced plans included data usable in Canada and the U.S.
| Monthly price reported | High-speed data reported | Data coverage |
|---|---|---|
| $65/month | 125GB | Canada only |
| $75/month | 200GB | Canada and the U.S. |
| $95/month | 275GB | Canada and the U.S. |
All three prices and data amounts above were reported by MobileSyrup on May 28, 2025; they should not be treated as current offers without checking Rogers’ live terms. Read MobileSyrup’s report.

The $75 and $95 monthly options were reported as Canada/U.S. plans. The $65 option was Canada-only, so it was not the listed choice for someone seeking included U.S. data. The report does not establish the detailed roaming conditions, such as any fair-use rules or limits, so check the plan’s current terms before relying on it for travel.

Was Rogers more expensive than Telus?
In its May 28, 2025 comparison, MobileSyrup said Rogers’ listed prices were $5 higher than Telus’ comparable offers at that time. That is a dated comparison, not a current price gap. Price alone also does not establish which carrier is the better choice for a particular customer; local coverage and plan conditions matter.
Is the 25GB offer still available?
Availability on September 30, 2026 is not established by the cited offer report. Rogers’ official plan page is the place to verify current pricing, eligibility, data coverage, and any offer end date. Rogers’ current page presents 5G+ plans with high-speed data allotments, continued data use at reduced speeds after the allotment, and savings when mobile service is bundled with Rogers internet or TV; those current-page terms do not confirm that the specific 2025 configurations remain available. How this change fits Rogers’ earlier data offers
The 25GB increase was not the first Rogers data-allotment change. In 2023, Rogers announced that its $85 unlimited plan’s high-speed allowance would double from 25GB to 50GB, and said bundled 5G plans started at $55 per month. Those are historical figures and do not describe the May 2025 BYOD offer or current pricing. See Rogers’ 2023 announcement.
