Yes—Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is getting physical Nintendo Switch 2 editions. Limited Run Games has listed a standard edition and a collector’s edition, with preorders scheduled to close on 15 November 2026. This is a physical-release announcement, not the game’s Switch 2 debut: Nintendo lists the digital release date as 9 June 2026.
What’s new about the Switch 2 release?
Nintendo already lists Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration for Switch 2 as an Aspyr release dated 9 June 2026. Limited Run Games’ announcement adds physical editions to that existing release. Nintendo Life reported on 6 October 2026 that preorders were scheduled to open on 9 October; on 7 October, the Limited Run Games pages showed both editions as “Coming Soon.” Check the Limited Run Games product pages for current availability, since preorder status and prices can change.
The physical edition is described as the complete 20 Year Celebration release, including DLC and bonus content. Nintendo lists a 17.6 GB download size for the game, as well as handheld, tabletop, and TV modes, touch-screen features, online play, and Save Data Cloud support. The physical listing’s region-free description is from Limited Run Games, not a separate Nintendo compatibility guarantee.
