Ring’s US offers page currently lists select doorbells for up to 50% off, including the Battery Doorbell 2K for $39.99, reduced from $99.99. That is a current promotion—not a confirmed Black Friday 2026 deal: Ring says its 2026 Black Friday sale has not started. A doorbell can help you monitor a delivery area, but the available sources do not show that it prevents porch theft.
Is the Ring doorbell Black Friday deal live?
No confirmed 2026 Black Friday sale is live. Ring’s US offers page advertises select doorbell offers up to 50% off. It lists the Battery Doorbell 2K at $39.99, down from $99.99. This is a live-page price snapshot, not a guaranteed Black Friday price or an independently verified typical price; check the listing and terms before buying.
Ring’s Black Friday page says the sale has ended and that the company will notify customers when the 2026 sale starts. It does not give a start date. If you are waiting specifically for a Black Friday promotion, sign up for Ring’s notification there rather than treating today’s offer as that sale.
What the Battery Doorbell 2K price tells you—and what it doesn’t
The Battery Doorbell 2K is the model Ring currently names at $39.99 on its US offers page, reduced from $99.99. Confirm the exact model name, included accessories, and checkout price: Ring lists multiple models and bundles, and a lower price on one model is not directly comparable with a discount on another.

Historical prices can provide context but not a like-for-like current comparison. In a November 25, 2025 deal article, Tom’s Guide reported the older Ring Battery Doorbell at $49, down from $99. That article covered a different model and an earlier promotion, so its price and specifications should not be treated as current details for the Battery Doorbell 2K. Tom’s Guide’s 2025 deal coverage also described that older model as battery powered, with head-to-toe video and 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi support.
Can a Ring doorbell stop porch pirates?
A video doorbell can help you monitor the doorstep and, depending on the model and plan, may offer package-related detection or alerts. Recording and reviewing footage may also help document what happened if a delivery goes missing. These functions are not a guarantee that anyone will be present to intervene, and the available sources do not establish that a Ring doorbell prevents theft or measurably reduces porch piracy.

Do not assume package detection, alerts, video history, or other recording features are included with every Ring doorbell or available without an ongoing plan. Check the exact model’s feature list, plan requirements, and availability in your location before purchase. Tom’s Guide’s comparison of Ring, Eufy, and ecobee discusses package detection and subscription needs as model-dependent considerations.

Power and installation
Battery-powered models can suit a location without convenient doorbell wiring. Wired models depend on compatible power and installation. Check the exact product’s instructions against your existing wiring and installation constraints; the label “wired” alone does not establish compatibility with your home.

- Capture it all with Retinal 4K video — See your home or business in the ultimate clarity with Retinal 4K.

- See, hear and speak to visitors on camera — With Live View & Two-Way Talk with Audio+, you’ll be able to interact with who’s there in real time, right from your phone.
- Tailored detection for more exact alerts — 3D Motion Detection pinpoints motion on your property so you’ll receive more precise alerts and fewer interruptions.
- True color, even in low light — With Low-Light Sight, just a little ambient light gives you true color video. In total darkness, your camera switches to crisp black-and-white to keep details sharp.
Package features and plan requirements
Compare the specific package-related features you want—such as detection or alerts—with the model’s current feature information. Confirm whether those features require a subscription and whether the plan is available where you live. A basic motion alert and package detection are not interchangeable promises.
Storage and ongoing cost
Consider how footage is stored and how long you need access to it. The cited comparison coverage presents Eufy local storage as an alternative to cloud features that may depend on a subscription, but configurations and storage limits vary. Check the exact product and plan rather than assuming that all models store or retain video in the same way.

Smart-home compatibility
If you want the doorbell to work with a particular smart-home setup, verify current compatibility for your devices and the exact model. The comparison coverage identifies ecobee as an option for HomeKit users and describes ecosystem compatibility across products; those claims should be checked against current manufacturer specifications before purchase.

Like-for-like deal value
Compare the exact model and generation, the current price, the stated list price, included accessories, and bundle contents. A bundle may change the effective value, while two products advertised with the same discount may differ substantially in features or what is included. Ring’s offers page lists different models and bundles, so compare the actual listings rather than the discount percentage alone.

How to decide whether to buy now or wait
- Consider buying now if the Battery Doorbell 2K is the model you want, the current checkout price and terms suit you, and you have verified its power, package features, and plan requirements.
- Wait for the announced sale if your decision depends on a confirmed Black Friday 2026 promotion. Ring has not announced its start date.
- Look beyond the discount if your priority is a particular storage approach, smart-home ecosystem, or package alert. Compare the exact model and ongoing costs, not just the headline percentage.
