PCWorld reported on October 1, 2026, that Amazon was offering the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K and Ring Indoor Cam together for $49.99, against a stated combined value of $149.98. That is a dated deal report—not confirmation that the offer is still available. Check Amazon’s current listing, stock, and bundle contents before buying. PCWorld’s October 1 deal report
What was in the reported $49.99 bundle?
The offer paired a battery-powered doorbell for an entryway with a plug-in camera for an indoor room. PCWorld reported individual sale prices of $39.99 for the Battery Doorbell 2K and $24.99 for the Indoor Cam at the time. At those reported prices, the $49.99 bundle cost $15 less than buying the two separately. Those figures describe the October 1, 2026 report, not verified current prices. PCWorld
| Device | Intended location and power | Listed video and features |
|---|---|---|
| Ring Battery Doorbell 2K | Entryway; rechargeable lithium-ion battery | 2K video; up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, according to PCWorld |
| Ring Indoor Cam | Indoor room; wired power from a nearby outlet | 1080p video and night vision |
Both devices provide live viewing and two-way talk, according to PCWorld. Ring’s product pages identify the Battery Doorbell 2K as a 2026 release and the Indoor Cam (2nd Gen) as a 2023 release. Retailer listings may bundle different camera generations, so check the exact names and contents rather than assuming every Ring camera bundle is the same. PCWorld · Ring product specifications

What to check before choosing this two-device setup
Power and placement
- The doorbell is battery-powered, so be prepared to recharge it. PCWorld’s estimate of one to three months of battery life is not a guarantee; actual duration can vary. PCWorld
- The Indoor Cam needs a standard power outlet nearby, which limits where you can place it. Ring product specifications
Wi-Fi at both locations
Ring specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for both products. For 2K devices, Ring recommends a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps. Check that the network reaches the front door and the planned indoor camera location. Ring product specifications
Recorded video and privacy
Ring says a compatible Ring Protect plan is required to review, save, and share recorded videos. Its product page advertises up to 180 days of video history for compatible plans, subject to plan and feature limitations. Live viewing and alerts should not be confused with included, indefinite video recording. Ring product specifications and plan details

Who may find this bundle useful?
The two devices cover different places, so the bundle makes the most sense if you want a doorbell at an entry and an indoor camera near an outlet, have reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in both locations, and are comfortable recharging the doorbell. Factor in a compatible Ring Protect plan if you want to review or save recordings. The deal report alone does not establish that this is the best option for every home or that it outperforms alternatives.
