Find the exact model number before changing the lighting: Rii keyboards use different shortcuts, and some documented models offer a rainbow effect rather than selectable solid colors. On the RK100, press the light-icon key between Fn and Ctrl to cycle blue, red, violet, and off.
Identify your Rii keyboard model first
Check the label on the keyboard or its packaging for the model number, then match it to that model’s manual. Riitek Italia’s manual index lists multiple Rii keyboard types, so the examples below do not cover every Rii model.
The controls documented on the manufacturer’s pages differ by model:

How to change color on the Rii RK100
- Locate the light-icon key between Fn and Ctrl.
- Press that key to cycle through blue, red, violet, and off.
- To change brightness, hold Fn and press Page Up to increase it or Page Down to decrease it.
- To activate blinking, press Fn and the light-icon key together. Use the adjacent marked keys to change blinking speed.
These steps apply to the RK100 instructions, not automatically to other Rii keyboards. The RK100 product page is the source for its specific controls.

Why color selection differs by model
The RK100 and RK105 instructions describe cycling through named colors. The RK100+ and RK400 pages instead describe rainbow-effect lighting, so they do not establish a control for choosing one fixed color. The RK400 also uses Fn + Scroll Lock, unlike the light-icon-key models listed here.
For the RK105, the manufacturer lists blue, green, and cyan as selectable colors. Its product page also states that its keys are rated for over five million keypresses; this is an undated manufacturer specification, not an independently tested result or a rating for all Rii keyboards. If the lighting shortcut does not work
- Recheck the model number and use that model’s manual rather than assuming the RK100 shortcut applies.
- Confirm that you are pressing the actual light-icon key or, on the RK400, Scroll Lock.
- Consult the matching entry in the Riitek Italia manual index if your model is not listed above.
The cited model pages do not establish one universal reset, software control panel, or shortcut for every Rii keyboard.
