Look for the egg beside the sleeping Dragon in the Dragon’s Lair, inside the volcano on Volcano Island. Recent guides agree on this location, but the route and mechanics are reported guide information rather than official game instructions: TechWiser, Pro Game Guides, and MrGuider.
How to reach the Dragon’s Lair
- Bring a flying pet. The guides name Phoenix as a suitable option for reaching the volcano and making the escape.
- Travel past the Desert to Volcano Island. Look for a small opening on the volcano’s right side and enter there.
- Follow the interior route toward the Dragon’s Lair. TechWiser describes wooden beams and crystals as cues along the way.
- Before picking up the egg, note how you will get back out. Guides report a 20-second window to escape the volcano, with danger from the Dragon or Guardian.
- Once outside, head straight back to the ranch and watch the live timer. TechWiser reports 40 seconds for this leg, while Pro Game Guides and MrGuider report 20 seconds; the available guides do not agree on the duration.
Check whether the egg is available
Pro Game Guides and MrGuider report that the Eternal Radar does not track the Volcanic Egg. They point players to the on-screen spawn announcement or the Tracker NPC to check whether it is available.
