Resort K had a September 2026 target for opening Stage 1, but the available dated update does not confirm that it opened. LUX Property Group’s 2 June 2026 update described planned villa fit-out work and progress on shared facilities. For LUX Village, the developer describes a ten-villa collection in Seminyak and Canggu, but no dated construction milestone or completion schedule is established here. The evidence does not support saying that both developments are visibly nearing completion.
What the latest dated update says about Resort K
In an update published on 2 June 2026, LUX Property Group said Resort K was targeting a September 2026 Stage 1 opening. It reported that architectural renders had been finalized, that fit-out work for the first ground-floor villas was expected to commence shortly, and that the signature pool deck and café precinct were moving toward completion. The update also said on-site inspections were available in Seminyak.
Those statements describe the developer’s plans and reported progress as of 2 June—not independently verified work or the project’s present condition. Because the September target has passed, the update alone cannot establish whether Stage 1 opened on schedule. A current written update or dated independent site evidence is needed to confirm the outcome.

What is known about LUX Village
LUX Property Group describes LUX Village as ten individually designed private villas across Seminyak and Canggu, with private pools and turn-key rental potential. The available project information does not provide a dated construction milestone or completion schedule. That absence leaves the timeline unconfirmed; it is not evidence that work has stopped or that the villas are incomplete.

How the two projects compare
| Project | Location and description | Dated progress evidence | Opening or completion timing | What is confirmed operational |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Resort K | Seminyak development, according to LUX Property Group. | LUX’s 2 June 2026 update said first ground-floor villa fit-out was due to start shortly and the pool deck and café precinct were moving toward completion. This is developer-reported, not independent verification. | Stage 1 was targeted for September 2026 in that update. Whether the target was met is not established. | No operational status for Resort K is confirmed by the available dated evidence. |
| LUX Village | Ten individually designed private villas across Seminyak and Canggu, as described by LUX Property Group. | No dated construction milestone is established. | No completion schedule is established. | No operational status is established. |
Do not confuse Resort K with Hotel K
They are separate LUX developments. LUX lists Hotel K as “Completed and operating”; that status applies to Hotel K, not Resort K. The listing is the developer’s own status report, not independent confirmation of Resort K’s progress.
What prospective buyers should verify
Anyone assessing a purchase or planned stay should seek project-specific, current evidence rather than infer completion from a target date or promotional description. Useful checks include:
- Ask LUX Property Group for a dated construction update and the current Stage 1 opening or handover status for Resort K.
- For LUX Village, request a dated construction schedule and confirmation of which villa, if any, is complete and available.
- Request current, dated site evidence and clarify whether it documents the specific project and stage being discussed.
- Check that any rental or handover terms apply to the specific unit and are set out in the relevant agreement.
LUX’s homepage promotes projected net returns of 12–18% and a 16.5% leaseback option. These are the developer’s commercial projections or offer, not independently verified rental performance. LUX also says its information is general, is not investment advice, and recommends independent professional advice. Treat any return figure as a claim to examine against the contract, operating costs, assumptions, and independent advice—not as a guaranteed or achieved result.

A separate Indonesia proposal is not construction evidence
A July 2026 ANTARA Bali report concerned a proposed hospitality development in Nusantara, outside Bali. It said LUX had been invited to submit further corporate documentation through a government investment platform for assessment. That assessment-stage proposal does not establish construction or completion progress at Resort K or LUX Village.
