A 9to5Google/9to5Toys roundup published October 8, 2026, reported Best Buy “excellent” open-box Galaxy Z Fold 8 models from $1,322, Pixel 11 Pro open-box models from $701, and Nothing Headphone (a) for $129 on Amazon. The biggest claimed savings—$628 on the Fold 8—applied to a specific 512GB open-box configuration. These are dated U.S. price reports, not confirmation of current stock or checkout prices.
Galaxy Z Fold 8: reported Best Buy open-box prices and Amazon discount
The roundup reported Best Buy “excellent” open-box listings for both 256GB and 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 8 models. Its maximum savings figure was $628 on a 512GB model, not on every configuration. The same roundup separately reported Amazon new-condition configurations at $350 off list; that is a different offer and condition.
| Storage | Color | Reported Best Buy open-box price | Reported comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| 256GB | Lavender | $1,322 | $1,900 new list price; $578 difference |
| 256GB | Graphite | $1,410 | Not stated for this configuration in the roundup |
| 256GB | Cream | $1,426 | Not stated for this configuration in the roundup |
| 512GB | Graphite | $1,487 | $2,100 new list price; $613 difference |
| 512GB | Lavender | $1,472 | Not stated for this configuration in the roundup |
| 512GB | Cream | $1,610 | Not stated for this configuration in the roundup |
The roundup described savings of up to $578 on 256GB and $628 on 512GB. It did not tie the maximum 512GB saving to a specific color in the listed prices, so treat that figure as the publisher’s reported maximum rather than applying it to every 512GB listing. Amazon’s reported new-unit discount was $350 off list, without configuration-level prices in the roundup.
Pixel 11 Pro: open-box colors matter to the reported savings
For the Pixel 11 Pro, the roundup reported a $1,099 new-price comparison and these Best Buy “excellent” open-box 256GB listings:

- 256GB Olive: $737, or $362 below the cited $1,099 comparison.
- 256GB Canyon: $701, or $398 below the cited $1,099 comparison.
The nearly $400 maximum is therefore tied to the Canyon 256GB open-box listing. A separate Amazon offer was reported at $849 for a new Pixel 11 Pro, with the 512GB version at $969. The roundup did not specify a new-price comparison for those Amazon configurations, so they should not be read as the same discount as the Best Buy open-box prices.
Nothing Headphone (a): $129 reported on Amazon
The roundup reported all four colors of the 2026 Nothing Headphone (a) at $129 shipped on Amazon, compared with a stated regular price of $199. It characterized that as 35% off and called it one of the lowest prices it had tracked. That lowest-price description is the roundup publisher’s assessment, not a live or independent price-history verification.

How to compare these deal reports
- Match condition: Best Buy prices above are open-box listings; the Fold 8 Amazon discount and Pixel 11 Pro Amazon prices were described as new units.
- Match the configuration: Storage and color affect the specific reported price, especially for the Fold 8 and Pixel 11 Pro.
- Check the retailer listing: The figures come from a roundup dated October 8, 2026, and do not establish today’s inventory, final checkout price, or sale terms.
- Compare the final total: Verify taxes, shipping, return terms, and the condition description at checkout before deciding that two listings are equivalent.
