The refreshed REM-Fit Pocket 1000 Hybrid is a 25 cm-deep, medium-firm mattress with memory foam and 1,000 pocket springs. Expert Reviews’ September 2026 tester found it an appealing all-rounder, with decent edge support, but noted some motion transfer and warned that very hot sleepers may find it uncomfortable. That makes it a plausible choice for a broad range of sleepers—not an automatic crowd-pleaser for everyone.
What changed in the refreshed Pocket 1000?
The current version is taller and has a different top comfort layer from the model reviewed by some earlier testers. Expert Reviews describes the refreshed mattress as 25 cm deep, up from 20 cm, with standard polyurethane foam replaced by memory foam. Its listed construction includes a removable, machine-washable cover, open-cell memory foam, a second zoned memory-foam layer, 1,000 full-size pocket springs, foam side walls and a high-density foam base. Expert Reviews’ review, published 30 September 2026, covers this refreshed design.
REM-Fit UK describes the current mattress as medium-firm, rated 7/10, with multi-zoned support and 1,000 full-height pocket springs. Those are manufacturer specifications and claims, rather than independent measurements. The current product page lists every size at 25 cm deep.

How does it feel to sleep on?
In its September 2026 review, Expert Reviews described the Pocket 1000 as a broadly appealing all-rounder. The reviewer listed soothing aches and pains and suitability for a variety of sleepers among its positives. These are that reviewer’s impressions, not a promise that the mattress will relieve pain or suit every body type.

Firmness is subjective. REM-Fit rates it 7/10, while Tom’s Guide testers judged an earlier 20 cm version closer to 6–6.5/10 after sleeping on a double for more than a month. Their rating is useful historical context, but that test predates the refreshed foam and taller build. Tom’s Guide’s February 2024 review should not be treated as a direct test of the current model.
Will it suit couples, hot sleepers and edge sitters?

The older Ideal Home test is another historical reference: contributor Jennifer Oksien slept on a king-size, 20 cm version on a slatted base for two months. Its findings concern that earlier configuration, not the refreshed mattress. Ideal Home’s review records that test.

REM-Fit UK lists five sizes. Its product page says all are 25 cm deep. Expert Reviews gave a reviewed price of £450 for a double on 30 September 2026; that is a dated review price, not a promise of the current selling price. Check the retailer’s live listing before buying.

What are the current trial, guarantee and delivery terms?
When checked on 5 October 2026, REM-Fit UK listed a 100-night sleep trial, extended to 200 nights when a protector is added, a 15-year guarantee, free delivery in 2–5 days and old-mattress removal available at checkout. Offers and policies can change, and conditions may apply, so confirm the terms on the product page and at checkout before ordering. The trial extension is tied to adding a protector; no particular protector has been independently evaluated here.

Consider it if you want a medium-firm hybrid with memory foam, zoned support and a substantial pocket-spring layer, and you value the latest reviewer’s positive impressions of comfort and edge support. Be more cautious if you sleep very hot or need near-total isolation from a partner’s movement: the current-model review raised both as concerns. Older reviews offer context, but their tests used a shorter, differently finished mattress and cannot settle how the refreshed version will feel to you.
