Rein Security announced a $25 million Series A on October 8, 2026, saying the round brings its total funding to $35 million. The enterprise security company says it will use the money for product development, its Agent Breakers research work, and hiring. Its product is designed to observe and govern AI-agent activity while agents execute—but the available coverage does not establish independent evidence of how well its protections work.

Who invested in Rein Security’s Series A?

Rein said Glilot Capital and Sienna Venture Capital co-led the $25 million round. Corner Ventures, Atlacle, and RNP Capital Advisors also participated. The company’s October 8 announcement says the financing brings total funding to $35 million; it does not disclose a valuation, individual check sizes, or investor ownership stakes. Rein says it plans to put the proceeds toward product development, Agent Breakers research, and hiring. The announcement does not break down how much is allocated to each area.

What does Rein Security do?

Rein sells enterprise security software, not a consumer security product. The company describes its platform as runtime security for AI agents: it aims to monitor actions as an agent carries them out, connect those actions to the code and resources involved, and let security teams govern or block activity.

  • WatchGuard Firebox T45 tabletop appliances bring enterprise-level network security to small office/branch office and retail environments. These appliances are small-footprint, cost-effective security powerhouses that deliver all the features present in WatchGuard’s higher-end UTM appliances, including all security capabilities, such as AI-powered anti-malware, threat correlation, and DNS-filtering.
  • 5G and Wi-Fi 6 enabled models available. Up to 3.94 Gbps firewall throughput, 5 x 1Gb ports, 30 Branch Office VPNs
  • Zero-touch deployment makes it possible to eliminate much of the labor involved in setting up a Firebox to connect to your network - all without having to leave your office. A robust, Cloud-based deployment and configuration tool comes standard with WatchGuard Firebox appliances. Local staff connects the device to power and the Internet, and the appliance connects to the Cloud for all its configuration settings.
  • Firebox T45 models make network optimization easy. With integrated SD-WAN and optional 5G technology, you can ensure failover to the cellular network, minimize disruptive connectivity, and establish secure and reliable connections for small offices.
  • Standard Support includes 24x7 access to technical support, with an unlimited number of incidents with a targeted response time of 24 hours for low priority, 8 hours for medium priority, 4 hours for high priority, and live calls for critical priority. Support is Web-Based and Phone-Based.

Runtime controls operate while software is executing, rather than relying only on reviews before deployment or alerts after an incident. In Rein’s framing, this gives security teams a view of what an agent actually does and an opportunity to intervene during execution. The company says its platform can block harmful actions in real time. Those are vendor claims; the reviewed coverage does not include an independent product test or benchmark validating them. How does Rein say its runtime controls work?

Rein says the platform connects agent activity to the line of code that triggered an action and to the business resource the agent touched. It describes policy governance and real-time guardrails, along with prioritization of exploitable issues and automated fixes. The company’s October 8 announcement characterizes the intended result as visibility into “every line of code an agent runs and every resource it touches,” paired with governance and controls that block harmful actions. This describes Rein’s stated product capabilities, not independently verified coverage.

Rein also says its approach does not route company or customer data through a gateway or proxy. Deployment architecture and data handling are important buyer questions, but that statement alone does not establish what data the product collects, how it is stored, or how access is controlled. Prospective customers should confirm those details in technical and contractual documentation. Rein’s product and funding blog

  • Interfaces and deployment: 2.5Gb and 1Gb Ethernet with SFP or SFP+ fiber for clean aggregation and segmented backhaul at the edge.
  • Coverage: Which agent frameworks, models, tools, and execution environments are supported, and which actions or resources are visible?
  • Enforcement point: Can a policy stop an action before it completes, or does the system primarily record and alert on activity?
  • Deployment and data flow: Where does the software run, what information leaves the environment, and what is retained? Request architecture and data-handling documentation rather than relying on a general no-proxy claim.
  • Evidence: Ask for reproducible demonstrations or customer-specific validation showing both blocked actions and legitimate actions that remain available. Clarify the test conditions and limitations.
  • Operations: Determine how policies are configured, exceptions are handled, alerts are investigated, and automated fixes are reviewed before adoption.
