Which phone has the better display?
The Galaxy A37 has the larger listed panel: 6.7 inches compared with 6.59 inches for the Redmi Turbo 5. Both are listed as 120 Hz AMOLED-family displays. If screen size is your priority, the A37 has the edge on these specifications; the small diagonal difference alone does not establish which screen looks better in person.

On the reported chipsets and score snapshot, the Redmi is the more performance-oriented option. Treat that as a paper comparison rather than proof that every app, game or workload will run a particular amount faster.
Battery capacity and charging speed
Gadgets Now lists a 7,540 mAh battery and 100 W charging for the Redmi Turbo 5, versus 5,000 mAh and 45 W for the Galaxy A37. Samsung specifies that the A37’s 5,000 mAh figure is typical capacity and gives 4,905 mAh as rated/minimum capacity. Battery size and advertised charging wattage do not by themselves determine actual endurance or charge time.
Samsung says battery life varies with network environment, usage and other factors. Its India page describes a UX Connect Research assessment of pre-release A37 devices conducted in the UK from January 8–18, 2026, using LTE and 5G Sub6, not mmWave. 91mobiles separately lists battery-test durations of 16 hours 5 minutes for the Redmi and 11 hours 50 minutes for the A37; those are that site’s test results, not universal runtimes.

The published figures favor the Redmi on capacity and charging wattage. Choose based on those specifications only if they match your priorities, and consult testing with conditions similar to your own use before treating a runtime as predictive.
Storage and camera differences
Storage configurations
The comparison listings show 256 GB storage for the Redmi Turbo 5 and 128 GB for the Galaxy A37 configuration used in the comparison. Samsung India lists four A37 combinations: 128 GB storage with 6 GB RAM, 128 GB with 8 GB, 256 GB with 8 GB, and 256 GB with 12 GB. Samsung notes that availability varies by country, region or carrier, so compare matching capacities and memory rather than assuming every variant is sold where you live.
Rear cameras
The cited comparison pages list a 50 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide camera for both phones. They also list an additional 5 MP macro camera on the Galaxy A37. Megapixel counts and lens presence do not establish image quality; the available specifications do not support a conclusion about which phone takes better photos.

Software support and durability
Samsung says the Galaxy A37 will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, plus up to six years of security updates. Samsung’s India product page gives March 31, 2032 as the date until which its security updates are valid. This is Samsung’s stated commitment, not an independently verified update record. No directly comparable official Redmi Turbo 5 support commitment is established in the cited sources, so the evidence does not support calling the two phones equal on update longevity.

There is no single universal price difference in the available figures. Gadgets Now’s India snapshot lists an offer price of ₹38,999 for the Galaxy A37 and ₹41,999 for the Redmi Turbo 5, a ₹3,000 difference in the A37’s favor at those listed prices. The same page gives list prices of ₹54,999 for both. These are site- and time-specific figures, not guaranteed current retail prices.

For the United States, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A37 would be available from April 9, 2026, starting at $449.99; Samsung said Amazon.com carried the Awesome White color. That U.S. launch price cannot be directly compared with the India snapshot. The available sources do not establish a current regional Redmi price, availability, or warranty.
For a useful comparison, check the same country, date, seller and storage configuration for both phones. Confirm whether a displayed price is an offer or regular price, and verify local warranty coverage before ordering.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if the reported larger battery, faster listed charging, chipset or 256 GB comparison configuration is more important to you, and you can verify those specifications and local support for the version on sale.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 if you want the larger listed screen, Samsung’s published update commitment, or the A37 configuration that is available from a trusted seller in your market.
- Compare the exact listings first if price or storage is decisive. The India price snapshot and U.S. Samsung launch price describe different markets and cannot establish which phone is cheaper where you live.
