Yes. Xiaomi/REDMI announced a 9,000 mAh battery for the Turbo 5 Max in 2026, a figure reported by GSMArena after Redmi’s design reveal and repeated in launch coverage by IT之家. Xiaomi Community’s January 26, 2026, announcement also confirmed the capacity ahead of the China launch: Xiaomi Community.
That figure is the stated battery capacity, not a promise of a particular number of hours or days between charges. Xiaomi also reported an endurance result of 11 hours 10 minutes, relayed by IT之家, and compared it with a rival device described as having a 10,000 mAh battery. The report does not provide a detailed test protocol, so this is a manufacturer-reported result, not an independent battery test.

What does the Redmi Turbo 5 Max look like?
Redmi’s pre-launch reveal showed an Ocean Breeze Blue version and described a CNC metal frame with a fiberglass rear panel. Launch coverage listed four color options: Shadow Black, Sea Breeze Blue, Auspicious Cloud White, and Sunshine Orange. Color names and availability may vary by market.
