Display: Redmi has more screen area and resolution
Xiaomi lists a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel at 2772 × 1280, which it describes as 1.5K, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. OPPO lists a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits in its launch table. Both manufacturers specify AMOLED and 120Hz; Xiaomi’s listed panel is larger and has higher resolution.

Camera hardware: higher headline resolution on Xiaomi
Rear cameras
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G has a listed 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an f/1.7 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Xiaomi also lists 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. OPPO’s F33 5G table lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. On paper, Xiaomi offers the more ambitious main-camera specification and a named ultra-wide companion.
Megapixel counts do not by themselves predict image quality. Sensor, processing, lens performance and shooting conditions matter, and no comparable image-quality test is established here.

Front cameras and model distinction
Xiaomi lists a 20MP front camera and OPPO lists a 16MP front camera. Those figures describe resolution only; they do not establish which phone produces better selfies. Make sure a listing is for the standard OPPO F33 5G: OPPO’s F33 Pro 5G is a different model and has a different front-camera system.
Battery and charging: OPPO leads on stated capacity and wattage
Xiaomi specifies a 6580mAh typical-capacity battery and 45W turbo charging. Its global product page lists a 45W charger in the box, although package contents can differ by region. OPPO lists a 7000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the F33 5G. The listed capacity and charging wattage both favor OPPO, but they do not establish real-world battery life or charging time across conditions.

Performance and software: specifications, not a speed verdict
The Redmi’s listed Dimensity 7400-Ultra is manufactured on a 4nm process; OPPO lists a Dimensity 6360 MAX on a 6nm process. Chip names and fabrication-process figures alone are not enough to establish which phone is faster in apps or games. No comparable benchmark results are established here.

Xiaomi’s global specification page lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, with a warning that ingress protection is not assured if the product is subjected to environments beyond test conditions. OPPO India lists IP69, IP68 and IP66 for the F33 5G. These are ratings under specified test conditions, not a promise that either phone is waterproof or that liquid damage will be covered by warranty. Review the local warranty terms and follow each manufacturer’s use guidance.

India price difference and configurations
OPPO announced the F33 5G in India on 15 April 2026 and said it would be available from 26 April 2026. Its official launch prices were:

Xiaomi’s global specification page lists 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants; OPPO India lists the configurations above. Compare live listings at the same RAM and storage capacity where possible, and check the seller’s region and warranty.
A 91mobiles comparison page showed Amazon prices of ₹31,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro and ₹30,990 for the OPPO F33 5G when its page was checked, a ₹1,009 difference with Xiaomi higher. Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G on specifications if you prioritize the larger, higher-resolution display, the 200MP OIS main camera, an ultra-wide rear camera, or the listed 4K/30 video mode.
- Choose the OPPO F33 5G on specifications if you prioritize its 7000mAh rated battery, 80W charging specification, or lower listed weight.
- Compare prices before deciding if value is the deciding factor: use the same RAM and storage tier, check the exact model and regional warranty, and verify current prices rather than relying on launch figures or an older price snapshot.
Xiaomi’s product page says network bands and eSIM/NFC availability may vary by country or region, and package contents can differ. Xiaomi’s listed 210g weight and configuration options are from its global page, so check the local model details against the seller’s listing.
