If you mean the global REDMI Note 15 5G, Xiaomi’s published specifications make the India-market REDMI Turbo 5 the more performance- and battery-focused option: it lists a Dimensity 8500-Ultra, a 7,540mAh silicon-carbon battery and 100W charging, compared with the Note 15 5G’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 5,520mAh typical battery and 45W charging. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent speed or battery-life tests. “REDMI Note 15” also refers to a separate 4G model in some markets, so identify your exact variant before comparing prices or compatibility.
Which phones are being compared?
This comparison uses the global REDMI Note 15 5G and the India-market REDMI Turbo 5. Xiaomi’s specifications, included accessories and network support can differ by region, so the Turbo 5 details below should not be assumed to apply to every market.
The name REDMI Note 15 is ambiguous. Xiaomi Cambodia’s non-5G REDMI Note 15 specifications describe a different phone, with a Helio G100-Ultra, 6,000mAh battery and 33W charging. It is not the same device as the global Note 15 5G discussed here.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from matched independent tests. The chipset names alone do not establish how much faster one phone feels in a particular app or game. Likewise, capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world battery runtime or charging time, and camera resolution does not determine image quality. Xiaomi’s peak-brightness figure is not a like-for-like independent measurement.

Which one should you choose?
Choose the Turbo 5 if performance and battery capacity lead
On the cited India specifications, the Turbo 5 has the newer named software version, larger listed battery and higher stated charging power. That makes it the more compelling spec-sheet choice if those are your priorities and you can buy the India version with suitable local support. The available specifications do not confirm independent performance, endurance, camera-quality results or a specific software-update duration.
Choose the Note 15 5G if you need that global model’s configuration
The global Note 15 5G has a larger listed screen diagonal, a 108MP main camera plus an 8MP ultra-wide, and its own regional 5G-band configuration. Those details may matter more than the Turbo 5’s battery figures if the Note 15 is the model sold and supported where you live. Check Xiaomi’s local listing for supported bands, warranty and included accessories rather than assuming the global page describes every regional unit.

The cited pages list IP66 for the Note 15 5G and IP68/IP69K for the Turbo 5. These ratings do not mean either phone is suitable for unrestricted water exposure, and they do not replace the warranty terms applicable to your purchase.

What is the price difference?
There is no reliable single price difference to quote without a country, date and matching storage configurations. The cited sources do not establish current prices for both phones in the same market, so a numerical comparison would be misleading.

For context only, IT之家 (ITHome) reported China launch list prices for the Turbo 5 on January 29, 2026: RMB 1,999 for 12GB+256GB; RMB 2,299 for either 16GB+256GB or 12GB+512GB; and RMB 2,599 for 16GB+512GB (launch report). These are historical China launch prices, not current local prices or a comparison with the Note 15. The report also gives government-subsidy effective prices, which depend on policy and eligibility and should not be treated as general retail prices.
To calculate a useful difference, compare both phones from the same country and date, with the same storage tier where available, and account for tax, seller, warranty and active promotions. If you cannot match those conditions, compare local availability and warranty rather than relying on a price figure from another market.

What to verify before buying
- Exact model: Confirm whether a Note 15 listing is the 5G or non-5G version, and which regional Turbo 5 it is.
- Network compatibility: Check the specific unit’s supported bands against your carrier; a product name alone does not establish compatibility.
- Charger and box contents: Xiaomi’s global Note 15 5G page says a power adapter is not included. The Cambodia non-5G Note 15 page lists an in-box 33W adapter. Confirm the local package for the phone you are buying.
- Warranty and protection: Check local warranty terms, including how they address liquid damage; an IP rating is not a promise of unrestricted waterproofing.
- Price configuration: Match storage, market, tax treatment and promotion status before comparing totals.
