The India-market Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G and realme P1 5G share a 6.67-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display and 45 W charging, but differ in chipset, camera hardware, battery rating, and software-update commitments. Neither is a clear all-round winner from specifications alone, and there is no dependable fixed price gap: compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller type, and offers on the day you buy.

Which phone has the better display?
Both manufacturers specify a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi lists up to 2100 nits peak brightness; realme lists 2000 nits local peak brightness. Those are vendor specifications, and the different peak-brightness descriptions do not establish which screen is brighter in ordinary use or under a comparable independent test.

Performance: Dimensity 7025-Ultra vs Dimensity 7050
The Redmi Note 14 5G uses the Dimensity 7025-Ultra, while the realme P1 5G uses the Dimensity 7050. The chipset names and specifications alone do not show how the phones compare in sustained performance, gaming, heat, or everyday responsiveness. No controlled head-to-head performance results are established here, so choose based on verified testing for the exact models if gaming or demanding workloads are a priority.

Camera differences
Xiaomi specifies a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS), plus a 20 MP front camera. realme specifies a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP portrait camera, and a 16 MP front camera. These figures describe hardware, not comparative photo quality; megapixel counts and stabilization labels do not establish which phone produces better photos or video in practice.
Battery capacity and charging
Xiaomi lists a 5110 mAh battery and 45 W charging. realme lists 5000 mAh typical capacity, with 4880 mAh rated capacity, and 45 W SUPERVOOC charging. The capacity difference is small on paper, but capacity does not determine real-world endurance by itself. The available specifications do not provide a like-for-like battery-life or charging-time test, so they cannot establish which phone lasts longer or recharges faster.

Software and update support
The product pages list Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 on the Redmi and Android 14-based realme UI 5.0 on the P1. Xiaomi’s India product page promises two OS updates and four years of security updates. A 91mobiles comparison listing reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the P1, but that is a comparison-page claim rather than an official realme support policy established here. Do not treat the figures as a fully verified, like-for-like support comparison.

- Smartprix displayed ₹16,499 and ₹13,999 respectively, but its detailed fields identified the Redmi as the 4G model, so its Redmi price is not a reliable 5G comparison.
- Gadgets 360 reported a ₹19,999 starting price for the Redmi Note 14 5G on October 6, 2026, with configuration prices varying.
These are dated listing examples, not a current, same-configuration price comparison. Check the exact 5G model and match RAM and storage before comparing prices. Also compare the same seller class, confirm stock and delivery to your location, and separate the listed price from any bank or exchange offer.

Which should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Note 14 5G if its listed OIS-equipped main camera, 20 MP front camera, IP64 rating, Gorilla Glass 5, or Xiaomi’s stated update commitment matters to you. These are specification-based reasons, not proof of better camera output or overall value.
- Consider the realme P1 5G if its Dimensity 7050, 128 GB or 256 GB listed storage options, or realme UI 5.0 suits your needs. The chipset label alone does not prove a performance advantage.
- Let the live price decide if the features you value are otherwise close: compare equivalent RAM and storage, available stock, seller, warranty terms, and the final price after offers.
