The standard Redmi Note 13 4G has a rear ultra-wide camera that the listed standard Redmi Note 14 configuration does not. The Note 14’s global listing names a Helio G99-Ultra chip and a typical 5,500mAh battery, but the available specifications do not establish a direct performance win or a universal price difference. This comparison is for the standard 4G models; check the exact model, country and memory configuration before comparing listings.
Which models are being compared?
“Redmi Note 13” and “Redmi Note 14” can refer to different connectivity and regional versions. The specifications below use Xiaomi’s Indonesia listing for the Redmi Note 13 4G and Xiaomi’s global and Kenya pages for the standard Redmi Note 14. Xiaomi cautions that products and specifications may vary by region. Confirm the model code and local specifications for the phones you are considering.
The Redmi Note 14 5G sold in India is a separate model, not a specification variant to mix into this 4G comparison. Its chipset, camera and other details are different.

Camera differences: the ultra-wide matters more than the megapixel count
The clearest listed hardware distinction is the Note 13 4G’s 8MP ultra-wide camera. The cited Note 14 configuration instead lists a 108MP main camera and two 2MP cameras, with no ultra-wide in that stated set. If you often photograph landscapes, groups or interiors and want a wider view without stepping back, that missing module may matter more than the headline 108MP figure.
Megapixels alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. Sensor, lens, image processing and shooting conditions affect results, and the specifications cited here do not provide a controlled camera comparison. Choose based on the camera types you will use rather than assuming the newer model produces better images.

Performance: the listed chip does not prove a speed advantage
Xiaomi’s global Note 14 page specifies a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra. The cited Note 13 page does not provide a processor specification, and no directly comparable benchmark or test result is available here. It is therefore not possible to quantify a performance gain between these two models from these listings alone.
For a buying decision, compare the exact regional model and RAM configuration, then look for tests of those same versions if gaming or demanding apps are important. Do not use the Note 14 5G’s processor as a substitute for the standard Note 14’s specifications.

Price difference: why there is no single current figure
There is no supported universal current price gap between the Redmi Note 13 and Note 14. Prices vary by country, connectivity version, storage configuration, retailer and promotion. Compare the two phones in the same country, with the same 4G or 5G class and similar RAM and storage; treat discounts, trade-ins and financing separately from a regular listed price.
A January 15, 2025 report on Spain launch availability listed the Redmi Note 14 from €229 and the Redmi Note 14 5G from €299. Those are historical launch figures for two different Note 14 models, not today’s price comparison between the Note 13 and Note 14. See the Spain launch pricing report.

Do not confuse the standard Note 14 with the India 5G model
Xiaomi’s India specification page describes the Redmi Note 14 5G with a Dimensity 7025-Ultra, a 6.67-inch FHD+ display up to 120Hz, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS and EIS, a 5,110mAh battery and 45W charging. These are specifications for that India 5G variant; they do not describe the standard 4G Note 14 used in the main comparison. Check Xiaomi India’s Redmi Note 14 5G specifications if that is the model you are shopping for.
Quick Recap
How to choose between them
- Consider the Note 13 4G if you want the listed ultra-wide rear camera and find it at a better like-for-like local price.
- Consider the standard Note 14 if its local configuration and price suit you, and you do not need an ultra-wide camera. Its cited global listing specifies the Helio G99-Ultra and a typical 5,500mAh battery.
- Compare the India Note 14 5G separately if you need that regional 5G model; its hardware differs from the standard model.
- Before buying, verify the country-specific model code, 4G or 5G connectivity, RAM, storage, warranty and final price after any promotion.
