The Redmi 15’s main advantages on Xiaomi’s published specifications are a larger, faster-refreshing display and a higher-capacity battery. The Redmi 13 lists a higher-resolution main camera and is physically narrower and lighter. Neither is an automatic better buy: the right choice depends on your local price, exact configuration, network variant, and priorities.

What changed from Redmi 13 to Redmi 15?
The Redmi 15 has a larger, faster-refreshing screen
Xiaomi lists a 6.9-inch display with a refresh rate up to 144Hz for the Redmi 15, compared with 6.79 inches and up to 90Hz for the Redmi 13. The higher refresh-rate ceiling can make supported content and interface movement look smoother, while the larger screen gives more viewing area. Actual refresh rate depends on supported apps and settings. Xiaomi also lists higher typical and HBM brightness figures for the Redmi 15; these are manufacturer specifications, not a head-to-head independent screen test.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The Redmi 15 lists a larger battery, but not a guaranteed runtime
Xiaomi specifies a 7,000mAh typical battery for the Redmi 15 and 5,030mAh typical for the Redmi 13. Both list 33W charging. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use: screen settings, network conditions, workload, and software all affect runtime. The listed charging wattage is the same, so the larger capacity does not by itself show which phone charges faster.
The camera megapixel counts do not settle photo quality
The Redmi 13 lists a 108MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera; the Redmi 15 lists a 50MP main camera plus an auxiliary lens. The Redmi 13’s higher main-camera megapixel count may appeal if resolution is a priority, but megapixels alone do not measure detail in real scenes, low-light results, focus, or image processing. The cited specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Processor and storage specifications differ
Xiaomi lists a MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra for Redmi 13 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 for Redmi 15. The Redmi 15 page specifies a 6nm chip versus 12nm for Redmi 13, but those labels alone do not establish comparative speed, gaming performance, or efficiency. The listed storage technologies also differ: Redmi 13 uses eMMC 5.1, while Redmi 15 uses UFS 2.2. These are specification differences, not a substitute for comparable independent performance tests.
The Redmi 15 is wider and heavier
The Redmi 15 weighs 214g against 205g for Redmi 13 and is about 4mm wider according to the listed dimensions. That may matter if you prefer a narrower, lighter phone, even though the Redmi 15’s screen is slightly larger. The two phones have different dimensions, so a case designed for one should not be assumed to fit the other.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi 15 if you value its larger display, higher listed refresh-rate ceiling, and larger stated battery capacity, and its local price and configuration suit you.
- Consider the Redmi 13 if its listed 108MP main camera is a priority, you prefer a narrower and lighter handset, or you find it at a compelling price in your market.
- Compare the exact variants before deciding if memory, storage, network compatibility, included accessories, or warranty matters. Xiaomi’s cited Redmi 13 page is for Indonesia, while the Redmi 15 global page warns that specifications and availability can vary by region.
These are choices based on published specifications, not claims that one model has been shown to outperform the other in comparable battery, camera, or benchmark testing.
