Possibly. In the United States, whether Rebet winnings are taxable depends on what kind of Rebet product and prize you received. A missing tax form does not automatically mean you can leave taxable income off your return. Rebet’s sweepstakes rules and Rebet Fantasy’s contest terms describe different services, and neither establishes one tax treatment or tax form for every Rebet payment.

First identify which Rebet product paid you

Rebet describes its main platform as a free-to-play social sports and casino service that uses promotional sweepstakes and loyalty rewards. It says Rebet Coins cannot be redeemed externally, while Rebet Cash can be used in promotional games with possible prize redemption subject to the terms and verification. That is the company’s product description, not a legal determination of how a particular prize is taxed. Rebet

Rebet Fantasy is a separate service. Its terms describe peer-to-peer, skill-based fantasy contests and identify the service as RB Fantasy LLC / Rebet Fantasy. Do not apply a statement in those terms to a prize from the general Rebet sweepstakes platform.

Situation What the official materials establish What they do not establish
Prize from Rebet’s sweepstakes platform Rebet’s Sweepstakes Official Rules put responsibility for applicable taxes on the winner and say the sponsor may need to withhold or remit part of a prize or request tax information. Rebet Sweepstakes Official Rules A universal tax classification or form for every prize or participant is not stated in the rules.
Rebet Fantasy contest winnings Terms updated January 1, 2026 say Rebet Fantasy may file Form 1099-MISC or another appropriate form when annual net winnings exceed $600. Rebet Fantasy Terms of Use This is Rebet Fantasy’s stated policy; it is not a confirmed reporting threshold or form policy for Rebet sweepstakes prizes.
Gambling winnings generally The IRS says casual gamblers’ gambling winnings are taxable and must be reported, including winnings for which no Form W-2G was issued. IRS Topic 419 This general IRS guidance does not, by itself, settle the tax classification of every prize from Rebet’s sweepstakes model.

Does Rebet send a tax form?

The available Rebet rules do not promise one particular form for every sweepstakes winner. They say Rebet may request a Social Security number or other information for tax reporting or withholding, and that it may need to withhold or remit part of a prize. Check your Rebet account and any tax documents or notices for the tax year in question rather than assuming that a form will—or will not—arrive. Rebet Sweepstakes Official Rules

The IRS explains that payer reporting and withholding depend on the type of gambling, the amount, and generally the ratio of winnings to the wager. Those requirements concern what a payer must report or withhold; they are not a general exemption from reporting income when a form is absent. IRS: About Form W-2G

What the 2026 W-2G withholding rule does—and does not—mean

In its January 2026 instructions, the IRS describes regular gambling withholding of generally 24% for specified types of winnings over $5,000 after subtracting the wager. For sports wagering and certain other wagering transactions, the win must also be at least 300 times the wager. The applicable rules vary by game type; backup withholding can also apply. These are federal withholding rules for specified wagering transactions—not a Rebet-specific threshold, not a universal rule for all prizes, and not necessarily the final tax rate you owe. Do I have to report winnings if I did not get a form?

Do not use the absence of Form W-2G or another tax form as the sole reason to omit a payment. For gambling income, the IRS says casual gamblers must report winnings whether or not a W-2G was issued. But because Rebet describes its main platform as a promotional sweepstakes product, the IRS gambling-income rule should not be treated as a settled classification for every Rebet sweepstakes prize. If you are unsure how your particular payment should be reported, get advice based on the product, prize, tax year, and your jurisdiction.

Rebet Fantasy’s terms say it may file Form 1099-MISC or another appropriate form for annual net winnings over $600. That statement applies to Rebet Fantasy as described in its terms, not automatically to sweepstakes winnings from the general Rebet service. Rebet Fantasy Terms of Use

Can I deduct losses?

For gambling income, the IRS says casual gamblers may deduct gambling losses only if they itemize, and only up to the amount of their winnings. That rule should not be assumed to apply to every Rebet sweepstakes prize: the available Rebet materials do not establish that all such prizes are gambling income. Ask a qualified tax professional before claiming a deduction when the classification is uncertain. IRS Topic 419

Keep records of payments and play

Save documents that show what you received and what happened in your account. IRS Publication 529 lists possible supporting records for gambling transactions, including Forms W-2G and 5754, wagering tickets, canceled checks, credit records, bank withdrawal records, and statements or payment slips from a gambling establishment. The relevant records for a Rebet prize may differ, so retain account statements, redemption confirmations, payment records, and related notices as well. IRS Publication 529

  • Record the date, product or contest, amount or prize received, and any related payment or redemption details.
  • Keep original statements, transaction records, and tax forms; a personal log can help organize them but is not a substitute for supporting documents.
  • For gambling losses, retain records that support both the losses and winnings, and do not claim more losses than the applicable rules allow.

Federal, state, and local treatment may differ

Rebet’s Sweepstakes Official Rules assign winners responsibility for applicable federal, state, local, and other taxes. That contractual statement does not determine the tax treatment under each jurisdiction’s law. The sources cited here do not resolve every state’s treatment or classify each Rebet prize. If the amount is material, you played across state lines, or you cannot tell whether a payment was a sweepstakes prize or gambling income, consult a qualified tax professional for the relevant tax year and locations.

What to do next

  1. Identify the service. Confirm whether the payment came from Rebet’s sweepstakes platform or Rebet Fantasy.
  2. Check your account and notices. Look for tax documents, redemption confirmations, statements, or a request for tax information for the relevant tax year.
  3. Keep records. Save the documents that show the prize, payment, and any related transactions.
  4. Determine the applicable reporting treatment. Do not infer that the payment is tax-free just because no form arrived; if its classification is unclear, ask a qualified tax professional.
  5. Check the rules where you file. Federal guidance does not settle the state and local treatment of every Rebet prize.
