The realme P4s 5G has the stronger listed display, battery, charging and camera hardware; the P4x 5G shares its officially listed chipset and still offers a 144Hz screen. A precise current price difference cannot be established from the available official listings, so compare like-for-like storage versions and same-day offers before deciding which is the better buy.

Display: AMOLED on the P4s, LCD on the P4x
Both models are advertised with refresh rates up to 144Hz, but that shared figure does not make their displays equivalent. The P4s uses a 1.5K AMOLED panel at 1,272 × 2,772, while the P4x is listed with an FHD+ LCD. The P4s screen is also slightly larger at 6.78 inches, compared with 6.72 inches on the P4x.

For a buyer, the key distinction is panel type and resolution rather than refresh rate alone. Choose based on whether the P4s’s AMOLED and higher stated resolution matter to you; do not infer that the P4x has the same display characteristics just because both list up to 144Hz.

Battery and charging: P4s has the larger numbers
realme lists a 7,000mAh battery and 45W charging for the P4x. The P4s is listed at 8,000mAh typical capacity, with a 7,820mAh rated capacity, and up to 80W charging. Those specifications give the P4s the advantage in capacity and maximum charging rate on paper.
Capacity and charging ratings do not establish real-world battery life or the time needed for a full charge. Usage, settings and charging conditions affect results, and realme’s “7000mAh Titan Battery 45W Ultra Charge” wording for the P4x is manufacturer language rather than an independent endurance assessment. See the respective official pages for the P4x and P4s.
Rank #2
Cameras: the P4s lists OIS and an ultra-wide camera
The P4s specifications list a 50MP main camera with 2-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 16MP front camera. The P4x product page lists a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, and says it supports 4K video. Its page does not provide enough detail here to make a complete rear-camera comparison, so it would be premature to conclude that it has only one rear camera.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsOn listed hardware, the P4s is the clearer fit if you want OIS or a dedicated ultra-wide option. Camera resolution alone does not predict image quality, and these specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos overall. The P4s page lists 4K recording at 30fps.

Performance and software support
realme lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G in both phones, so the processor name does not distinguish the models. realme’s product pages include separate AnTuTu claims—780,000+ for the P4x and 1,013,645 (V11) for the P4s—but these are manufacturer-reported figures from different pages, not an apples-to-apples independent comparison. They should not be treated as proof that one phone will perform better in every task.
The P4s specifications page states three years of Android OS updates and four years of Android security patches. The reviewed P4x product page does not establish a matching support commitment, so compare the current official terms before treating the support periods as equal. Check realme’s P4s page and P4x page for the latest product information.

Price difference: check matching variants on the same day
A reliable current price difference is not established by the official sources available for this comparison. realme’s India store catalog lists the models and notes that prices and availability can vary by market; it does not provide a usable current price pair for matching storage variants. A launch price should not be treated as today’s price.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →To make a fair comparison, check the same RAM and storage configuration for both phones, ideally at the same retailer and on the same day. Record whether each displayed amount depends on a bank discount, exchange offer or launch promotion. If one price relies on an offer you cannot use, compare the standard payable prices instead.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the P4s if its AMOLED display, larger listed battery, faster maximum charging, OIS, ultra-wide camera or stated software-support period are priorities for you.
- Consider the P4x if its FHD+ LCD and listed hardware meet your needs and its live price for the exact configuration is more attractive. The chipset name is the same on both official product listings.
- Before buying either, verify the exact RAM/storage variant, current price, stock, warranty and retailer terms. The comparison does not establish matching physical dimensions or weight for both models.
For the P4x announcement and India launch timing, see realme’s November 26, 2025 announcement, which announced a December 4, 2025 launch.
