The realme P4s 5G stands out on paper for its 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and 8,000mAh battery. Gadgets 360’s review found the display impressive and everyday performance generally capable, but also noted occasional stutters, heat under stress and battery life that did not match the reviewer’s two-day expectation. It is a plausible mid-range choice for display-first buyers, but its large battery alone is not a reason to assume exceptional endurance.

How good is the Realme P4s display?
The display is the phone’s clearest strength. realme specifies a 1272 × 2772 flexible AMOLED panel, 450 PPI and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz; Gadgets 360’s reviewer praised its clarity, color and smoothness. That combination should make text and images look crisp and scrolling feel fluid, although refresh rate can vary with settings and what an app is doing.
Brightness figures need context rather than a single headline number. The specs page lists 1,000 nits typical brightness and 1,400 nits typical HBM brightness, while realme’s product page advertises peak brightness up to 6,500 nits. These are different manufacturer claims and modes, not a promise that the screen holds 6,500 nits in ordinary use.

Performance, gaming and heat
The Dimensity 7400 Ultra is paired with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage. Gadgets 360 found the phone generally capable in daily use, but reported occasional interface lag and stutters. The reviewer also found casual games and selected demanding titles playable at default graphics settings, while noting heat around the camera module under stress.
Do not interpret realme’s 144FPS gaming language as a guarantee that games render every frame natively at 144 frames per second. The company’s product-page footnote says that figure is achieved through dedicated-chip frame interpolation and non-native game rendering. Actual performance depends on the game, settings and conditions.

Battery life and charging in the review
realme rates the battery at 8,000mAh typical capacity and 7,820mAh rated capacity, with charging support up to 80W. In Gadgets 360’s review, the phone lasted about a day and a half in the reviewer’s casual-use experience, short of their expectation of two days. The same reviewer recorded 21 hours 43 minutes in PCMark Work 3.1. That is one review’s benchmark result, not a prediction for every owner; screen settings, signal strength, apps and usage affect runtime.

In the reviewer’s charging observation, the battery reached about 44% in 30 minutes, 81% in roughly an hour and a full charge in about 1 hour 27 minutes. This was slower than the reviewer expected from the 80W claim. The official spec page lists charging compatibility, but check the regional box contents and charger support rather than assuming a particular adapter is included.

Camera hardware and review impressions
The rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with autofocus and two-axis optical image stabilization (OIS) with an 8MP ultrawide camera offering a 112-degree field of view. The front camera is 16MP. Rear video recording goes up to 4K at 30 frames per second; front recording tops out at 1080p/30fps, according to realme’s specification page.
Gadgets 360’s review summary describes daytime and low-light camera performance as good. That is one reviewer’s assessment, not a guarantee across scenes or a substitute for a broader camera comparison. The hardware gives you a stabilized main camera and an ultrawide option, but the available review does not establish that it is the best choice for low-light photography in its price range.

Size, durability and day-to-day handling
At about 208g and 8.6mm thick, the P4s is a substantial phone. Gadgets 360 described its weight as noticeable; consider handling it in person if you prefer a lighter device. The review lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, but buyers should confirm the rating and applicable warranty terms for their market before relying on water- or dust-resistance claims.
The design is striking, which may appeal to some buyers and feel too bold to others. The official India specification page also lists an IR remote sensor. Network bands and carrier support vary by market, so verify compatibility before importing or using the phone outside India.

For a purchase now, compare the current price for the exact RAM and storage tier across retailers, and confirm seller, stock, warranty and return terms. The three configurations above have no microSD expansion according to realme’s specifications.
Should you buy the Realme P4s 5G?
The P4s is worth considering if a sharp, fast AMOLED screen is high on your list and you want a large-capacity battery, capable mid-range hardware and a stabilized main camera. Its strengths are less compelling if your priorities are proven two-day battery life, consistently smooth performance under every workload, a lighter build or independently established low-light camera superiority.
Gadgets 360’s review named the iQOO Z11 and Vivo S2 as alternatives at the time it was published. Those models’ current prices, configurations and availability may have changed, so compare current listings at the same RAM and storage level rather than treating that historical comparison as a present-day ranking.
