Choose the realme P4R 5G if you prioritize its 8,000mAh battery and 144Hz refresh rate. Choose the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G if you want a sharper FHD+ Super AMOLED display, more listed rear-camera hardware, and a specific long-term software-support commitment. The available price listings do not support a dependable live rupee difference: compare the same RAM and storage configuration at checkout.

Which phone has the better display?
Galaxy M47: sharper panel and AMOLED contrast
The M47’s FHD+ Super AMOLED specification indicates a higher-resolution panel type than the P4R’s HD+ LCD. On listed specifications, that makes the Samsung the stronger choice for sharper text and detailed video, while AMOLED is the more premium panel technology.

The P4R has a 6.8-inch display and a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, compared with the M47’s 120Hz maximum. A higher refresh ceiling can make supported scrolling and animations look smoother, but it does not establish that every app or game runs at that rate. The P4R’s larger diagonal and faster refresh are its display advantages; the M47 has the resolution and panel-type advantage.

Battery, performance and cameras
Battery capacity is not a battery-life test
Realme lists an 8,000mAh battery and 45W charging for the P4R. Samsung lists 6,000mAh typical capacity for the M47; 91mobiles lists its charging at 45W. The P4R therefore has 2,000mAh more stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot determine how long either phone lasts in real use. Realme’s advertised endurance claims are manufacturer claims, not an independent head-to-head result. Gadgets 360’s P4R review summary describes battery life as a strength, while noting weaker low-light camera performance and pushing performance; those are that publication’s observations, not tests of both phones under matching conditions. Processor labels do not settle speed
The P4R is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Samsung’s product page excerpt gives the M47’s octa-core clock speeds as 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz, while 91mobiles names the processor as Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Without comparable testing of these exact phones, these labels do not establish which is faster in everyday use, games, or sustained workloads.

M47 lists more rear-camera hardware
The P4R’s official page lists a 50MP AI camera. Samsung lists a 50MP main camera, 5MP and 2MP additional rear cameras, and OIS; it also specifies a 12MP front camera and 4K recording at 30fps. 91mobiles lists an 8MP front camera for the P4R. These are hardware descriptions, not proof that the M47 produces better photos or video. Camera quality depends on processing and shooting conditions, and the available material does not establish a controlled comparison of image samples.
Software support: Samsung states a clearer schedule
Samsung says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch date, while noting that the policy may change. The M47’s India page lists a 29 June 2026 launch date, but the support clock is tied to the first global launch date. Realme lists Android 16 and realme UI 7.0 and uses “4-Year Smooth Guarantee” and “48-Month LagFree Protection” wording. Those smoothness claims are not a stated schedule for Android-version upgrades or security patches. On the information listed, Samsung offers the more explicit update commitment.

Price difference in India
There is no reliable exact price gap to quote from the available snapshots because they may reflect different configurations, sellers, or offers. Gadgets 360 reported a lowest Amazon India listing of ₹20,199 for the P4R on 4 October 2026, and listed P4R variants from ₹20,199 to ₹28,999. 91mobiles displayed ₹19,988 for the P4R and ₹35,999 for the M47 on its comparison page, accessed 5 October 2026. These are dated third-party listing figures, not guaranteed checkout prices. Samsung’s product page identifies its compared M47 configuration as 6GB/128GB but does not show a current price in the reviewed listing. Check the same RAM/storage tier, seller, and offers for both phones before calculating a difference.

Which should you buy?
- Choose the realme P4R 5G if your priorities are the largest listed battery capacity, 45W charging, a 144Hz refresh ceiling, or a larger screen diagonal.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G if you value FHD+ resolution, a Super AMOLED panel, OIS and more listed rear-camera modules, or Samsung’s explicitly stated OS and security update policy.
- Compare carefully before paying if price is the deciding factor: match RAM and storage, then check live seller pricing and offers rather than subtracting mismatched snapshots.
Neither specification sheet establishes a universal winner. Display priorities, software-support expectations, and the exact price of the configuration you can buy should drive the choice.
