The realme P4R 5G has clearly stated manufacturer specifications, including an 8000mAh battery, 45W charging and a 144Hz display. The Moto G Max 5G’s published specifications conflict across comparison pages, so its chipset, battery, cameras and launch details need confirmation before the phones can be compared reliably. A Gadgets Now page displayed prices of ₹19,180 for the P4R and ₹26,999 for the Moto, but those volatile aggregator figures are not verified live retailer offers.
At a glance: what is confirmed and what is not
For the realme P4R, the most dependable specifications in the available information come from realme India’s product page. The Moto G Max 5G figures below come from two comparison pages that disagree on several important details; they should be treated as unconfirmed until Motorola or a retailer provides a matching specification sheet.
| Specification | realme P4R 5G | Moto G Max 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | LCD, HD+, 144Hz; realme-published specification. Realme advertises peak brightness of 1200 nits. realme India | Gadgets360 reports a 6.72-inch FHD+ (1080 × 2400) display at 120Hz; Gadgets Now reports a 6.72-inch LCD but does not give the same complete resolution and refresh-rate detail in the cited information. Verify with Motorola. Gadgets360 Gadgets Now |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 6300, according to realme. realme India | Conflicting listings: MediaTek Dimensity 6400 on Gadgets360; Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 on Gadgets Now. Gadgets360 Gadgets Now |
| Battery and charging | 8000mAh and 45W charging, according to realme. realme India | Conflicting listings: 5200mAh with 33W charging on Gadgets360; 7000mAh with 30W charging on Gadgets Now. Gadgets360 Gadgets Now |
| Rear cameras | Not stated in the cited realme product-page details. | Conflicting listings: 200MP + 8MP on Gadgets360; 50MP + 8MP on Gadgets Now. Gadgets360 Gadgets Now |
| Front camera | Not stated in the cited realme product-page details. | Gadgets360 reports 32MP; the cited Gadgets Now details do not state a front-camera resolution. Gadgets360 |
| Software | realme says it runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. This is the manufacturer’s statement, not an independent software audit. realme India | Gadgets Now lists Android 16. A Motorola primary specification page was not available to confirm the software version or support policy. Gadgets Now |
| Dust, water and shock protection | realme lists IP65 dust and water resistance and says the phone is certified MIL-STD-810H for shock resistance. These are manufacturer claims. realme India | Not established in the cited comparison information. |
| RAM and storage | Variant details are not established consistently by the cited comparison information; check the exact realme listing. | Not stated consistently in the cited comparison information. |
| Displayed price | ₹19,180 on Gadgets Now’s comparison page when accessed in 2026; not a confirmed current retailer offer. Gadgets Now | ₹26,999 on Gadgets Now’s comparison page when accessed in 2026; not a confirmed current retailer offer. Gadgets Now |
Display: the P4R’s refresh rate is clearer
Realme specifies an HD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate for the P4R and advertises 1200-nit peak brightness. Those are manufacturer-published figures, not independent measurements. Gadgets360 lists the Moto G Max 5G with a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display; the conflicting records mean that figure should be checked against Motorola’s own specification sheet before purchase.
If the comparison-page figures prove accurate, the Moto would have the sharper listed resolution while the P4R would have the higher listed refresh rate. Screen resolution and refresh rate describe different things: resolution affects image detail, while refresh rate affects how often the display can update. Neither listing alone establishes overall display quality.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.72 inches, IPS LCD, 1080 x 2400 pixels
- 128GB Storage, 4GB RAM
- Android 15, Realme UI 6.0, Mediatek Dimensity 7400 Ultra (4 nm), Octa-core (4x2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
- 165.9 x 76 x 8.4 mm (6.53 x 2.99 x 0.33 in), 208 g (7.34 oz)
Performance: the Moto chipset needs confirmation
Realme identifies the P4R’s processor as a MediaTek Dimensity 6300. For the Moto G Max 5G, Gadgets360 names a Dimensity 6400, while Gadgets Now names a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Those are different processor families, so a performance comparison based on either listing could be misleading. Confirm the chipset for the exact Moto model and regional variant before relying on benchmarks or buying decisions.
Battery and charging: substantial disagreement in the Moto listings
Realme publishes an 8000mAh battery capacity and 45W charging for the P4R. The two Moto listings disagree on both capacity and charging: Gadgets360 gives 5200mAh and 33W, whereas Gadgets Now gives 7000mAh and 30W. Until the Moto figures are confirmed, it is not possible to make a sound capacity or charging-speed comparison. Capacity also does not, by itself, establish real-world battery life, which depends on usage and other conditions.

- 201 g (7.09 oz)

- Android 15, Realme UI 5.0, Unisoc T7250 (12 nm), Octa-core (2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x1.6 GHz Cortex-A55)
Cameras: do not choose based on the listed megapixels alone
The comparison pages disagree on the Moto’s main rear camera resolution: Gadgets360 lists a 200MP + 8MP rear setup, while Gadgets Now lists 50MP + 8MP. Gadgets360 also reports a 32MP front camera. The cited realme product details do not establish the P4R’s camera hardware, so a complete camera comparison cannot be made from these figures. Megapixel counts alone also do not establish photo quality.

Software and durability claims
Realme says the P4R runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. That establishes the manufacturer’s stated software version, but the cited information does not establish an update-duration promise or independently verify software behavior. Gadgets Now lists Android 16 for the Moto; a Motorola primary specification page was not found to confirm it or provide a support policy.
Rank #3
- 167.2 x 76.6 x 7.9 mm (6.58 x 3.02 x 0.31 in)
- 201 g (7.09 oz)

- Android 15, Realme UI 5.0, Unisoc T7250 (12 nm), Octa-core (2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x1.6 GHz Cortex-A55)
For durability, realme lists IP65 dust and water resistance and describes the P4R as certified MIL-STD-810H for shock resistance. Treat these as realme’s claims; they do not establish that the phone is waterproof or guarantee survival from every fall or impact. The cited Moto information does not establish a comparable rating.

How to make a reliable buying comparison
- Find the exact Moto G Max 5G model and regional variant on Motorola’s official site or packaging, then confirm its chipset, display, battery, charging, cameras and protection ratings.
- Match the realme P4R and Moto listings by RAM and storage. Do not compare different configurations as if they were equivalent.
- Check both phones at the retailer where you plan to buy, on the same date. Compare the final payable price rather than an aggregator figure or crossed-out list price.
- Use verified specifications to prioritize what matters to you: screen sharpness, smooth scrolling, battery capacity, charging, camera capabilities, or software support. Do not infer performance or photo quality from a single spec.
