Specifications are from the realme India P4 specification page and Xiaomi India Redmi Note 15 SE 5G specification page. Maximum CPU clock figures alone do not establish which phone performs better overall.
Display: 144Hz on the P4, up to 120Hz on Redmi
Both phones list a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen and 1080 × 2392 pixel dimensions. The difference in the published refresh-rate specification is 144Hz for the P4 and up to 120Hz for the Redmi. A higher refresh-rate ceiling can support smoother motion when the content and software use it, but these figures do not establish display quality or how often each phone runs at its maximum rate.

Battery and charging: bigger figures on the P4
realme lists the P4 battery as 7000mAh typical and 6830mAh rated; Xiaomi lists 5800mAh typical for the Redmi. The P4 is specified for 80W wired charging, compared with 45W for the Redmi, and both manufacturers list a charging adapter or charger in the box. Capacity and charging wattage are not measured battery endurance or a timed charge result, so they cannot by themselves predict how long either phone lasts or takes to recharge.
Cameras: choose by lens role, not megapixels alone
Rear cameras
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. The P4 adds an 8MP ultra-wide camera for a wider field of view; Redmi’s secondary rear camera is a 2MP depth sensor. These different roles matter more to framing options than a simple megapixel comparison, and the specifications do not establish which phone produces better photos.
Selfie cameras
The Redmi lists a 20MP front camera and the P4 a 16MP front camera. That is a resolution difference, not proof of better selfie detail or image processing in real-world use.

Storage and software
Both models are listed with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The P4 uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the Redmi lists UFS 2.2. Xiaomi explicitly supports microSD expansion up to 1TB through a hybrid SIM/microSD slot, which may require choosing between a second SIM and the memory card. The reviewed realme specification page lists dual nano-SIM and storage configurations but does not list a memory-card slot.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the realme P4 5G if
- You want the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling.
- You prefer the larger listed typical battery and higher rated charging wattage.
- An ultra-wide rear camera is useful to you.
- You are comparing like-for-like RAM and storage variants and its current price and stock work for your budget.
Choose the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if
- You need the officially listed microSD expansion option up to 1TB.
- You prefer the higher nominal front-camera resolution.
- You value its curved AMOLED display design or the exact variant and seller offer available to you.
For either phone, compare the same RAM/storage capacity and confirm what the seller includes. The listed hardware makes the P4 more aligned with refresh rate, battery capacity, charging wattage and rear-camera framing flexibility; Redmi is more aligned with expandable storage and selfie-camera resolution. That is a specification-based fit, not an overall performance or camera verdict.
Water resistance: read Xiaomi’s qualification carefully
Xiaomi describes the Redmi as having IP65 + IP66 resistance under specified laboratory conditions and states that warranty coverage excludes liquid damage outside those test conditions. This should not be read as a general waterproof guarantee. The P4 comparison here does not establish an equivalent rating.
