The realme P4 Power 5G stands out for its much larger stated battery and faster maximum wired charging; the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G offers a microSD slot and a stated six-year software-support policy. A meaningful price difference cannot be calculated from the available official prices: realme’s India store showed ₹32,999 for its 8GB+128GB model on October 5, 2026, while Samsung’s cited page did not show a comparable current selling price. These are India-market manufacturer specifications, not independent performance or battery-life test results.

Specifications are published by realme India and Samsung India. The realme store price is a dated listing snapshot, not a guaranteed current offer. Samsung’s cited product page lists a 6GB+128GB configuration; compare like-for-like RAM and storage variants before treating any retailer prices as a price gap.
Price difference: what can be compared
The available figures do not support a reliable price-difference calculation. The realme India Store displayed ₹32,999 for the P4 Power 8GB+128GB configuration on October 5, 2026, against an MRP of ₹50,999. The cited Samsung India page confirms Galaxy M47 configurations but gives no comparable current selling price. Its listed 6GB+128GB configuration also differs from the realme variant with a dated store price.
For a fair comparison, check both phones at the same time and match RAM and storage capacity. Offers, bank discounts and retailer pricing can change, so the October 5 realme listing should not be treated as an evergreen price.

Battery and charging: realme has the larger numbers
realme lists a 10,001mAh typical battery (9,750mAh rated) and charging up to 80W for the P4 Power. Samsung lists 6,000mAh typical capacity (5,882mAh rated/minimum) and charging up to 45W for the M47; Samsung says its fast charger is sold separately. The realme specification page lists compatibility with 55W PPS, 30W VOOC, 13.5W PD and 13.5W QC charging standards.
Those are manufacturer capacity and charging specifications, not comparative runtime or charging-time results. Actual battery life and charging speed depend on usage and charging equipment; the figures alone do not establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use.
Displays: larger and faster on paper, with different panel details
realme lists a 17.27cm FHD+ display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. Samsung lists a 16.91cm full-rectangle display measured diagonally, or 16.45cm accounting for rounded corners. It is an FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The diagonal figures use the manufacturers’ stated measurement conventions, so Samsung’s full-rectangle and rounded-corner measurements are not interchangeable.

The P4 Power has the higher listed refresh-rate ceiling and larger diagonal measurement. That does not, by itself, determine overall display quality: panel characteristics and viewing conditions matter, and the figures are not a side-by-side display test.
Performance: chipset names, not a tested winner
The P4 Power uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G, while the Galaxy M47 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. These official chipset names identify the hardware, but they do not establish which phone performs better in gaming, everyday use or sustained workloads. No comparable benchmark or hands-on performance results are available here.
Storage, cameras and physical differences
Expandable storage
Samsung lists microSD expansion up to 2TB through a hybrid SIM/microSD slot. realme lists no phone storage card support for the P4 Power. The M47’s expansion option may suit people who keep large photo, video or offline-media libraries; using the hybrid slot means choosing between a second SIM and a microSD card.

Camera information
Samsung lists a 50MP, 5MP and 2MP rear-camera system, with autofocus and OIS, plus a 12MP front camera. The retrieved realme specification details do not establish the P4 Power’s complete camera configuration. That is not enough information to name a camera winner or compare image quality.

Size and weight
realme gives approximate P4 Power dimensions of 162.26 × 76.15 × 9.08mm and weight of about 219g, noting that size and weight can vary by configuration and measurement. Samsung lists the M47 at 162.4 × 78.2 × 8.1mm and 206g. The listed figures make the realme thicker and heavier, while the Samsung is slightly wider; dimensions do not substitute for handling either phone in person.

Samsung says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date; Samsung notes that the policy is subject to change. The cited official specifications do not establish a directly comparable P4 Power support commitment, so the M47’s stated policy should not be taken as proof that it receives longer support.
Samsung’s India product page lists June 29, 2026, as the M47 launch date. This comparison is scoped to India-market products and specifications.
Quick Recap
Which phone makes more sense?
- Choose the P4 Power for the larger stated battery and higher charging ceiling: realme lists 10,001mAh typical capacity and up to 80W charging.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 if expandable storage matters: it supports microSD cards up to 2TB through a hybrid slot.
- Consider the M47’s stated support commitment: Samsung lists six OS-upgrade generations and six years of security updates from first global launch, subject to policy changes.
- Do not decide on price until both configurations are checked together: the available realme price is dated and for 8GB+128GB, while the cited Samsung page does not show a current comparable selling price.
- Do not infer a performance or camera winner from these specifications alone: the listed chipsets and incomplete comparable camera details are not test results.
