The realme P4 Power 5G launched in India on January 29, 2026, with a 10,001mAh battery, 80W wired charging and company-stated durability testing. Its capacity is unusually large, but battery-life figures depend on the test or usage involved; realme’s durability claims also do not mean the phone is indestructible.
When did the realme P4 Power launch?
realme announced the planned India launch for January 29, 2026, and launch-day coverage confirms the phone went on sale in India that day. realme’s January 20 announcement gave the scheduled date; Gadgets 360 and The Indian Express covered the launch. The confirmed availability discussed here is India; the cited material does not establish availability in other markets.
What does the 10,001mAh battery mean in practice?
realme lists a 10,001mAh battery using third-generation silicon-carbon anode material and an internal stacking process. Those are manufacturer descriptions of the battery design, not independent performance findings. realme calls it the longest battery life ever on a realme phone; that superlative is the company’s claim. The realme India product page gives the specifications and its laboratory scenarios.

On its product page, realme Lab lists 11.7 hours of BGMI, 185.7 hours of Spotify and 32.5 hours of YouTube. It also states that at 5% charge, Super Power Saving Mode can provide 218 minutes of calls or 46.8 hours of standby. These are manufacturer scenario figures, not guaranteed runtimes for everyday use; realme says actual results vary.

One reviewer’s observed battery life
Android Central reviewer Nirave Gondhia reported nearly five days of use under his normal-use pattern and just over four days under heavy use. Those are his observations, not a controlled comparison or a promise that every owner will get the same duration. Usage patterns and conditions differ. Charging: 80W wired and 27W reverse charging
realme specifies 80W wired charging. Gadgets 360 reports support for 27W wired reverse charging, which lets the phone supply power to another device. Android Central recounts a reviewer’s reverse-charging use that consumed a substantial share of the phone’s own battery. That makes the feature useful for an occasional top-up, but sharing power necessarily reduces the charge available for the P4 Power itself. The sources cited here do not establish whether a charging adapter is included in every regional retail package.

How durable is the realme P4 Power?
realme says the battery passed tests covering high and low temperatures, overcharging, battery drops and flat compression. The company also says the phone passed MIL-STD 810H shock-resistance testing. These are manufacturer-reported test claims; they do not establish that every unit will withstand every drop or that the phone is indestructible. The product page says user experience can vary with factors including machine aging and usage, and that intentionally caused damage is not covered by warranty. The cited material does not establish a waterproof rating, so do not assume the phone is waterproof on the basis of these claims.

Beyond the battery, realme lists a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, a Hyper Vision+ AI chip, a 1.5K 144Hz display and a 50MP Sony camera with optical image stabilization. realme Lab projects that the battery will retain at least 80% capacity after eight years under normal temperatures, assuming it is charged once every two days. The company labels the health figures theoretical calculations. Treat this as a company projection based on stated conditions, not as evidence from eight years of real-world use.
