The realme P4 5G is the more capable phone on paper: it adds 5G, a sharper 144Hz AMOLED display, stronger camera hardware and 80W charging. The realme P4 Lite compared here is the separate 4G model, with a 90Hz HD+ screen and 15W charging. A dependable current price difference cannot be stated: realme’s store listing showed one P4 configuration at ₹30,999 when accessed on October 4, 2026, but a comparable current P4 Lite price was not established.

What the specification differences mean
Display and performance
The P4 5G’s 1080 × 2392 AMOLED panel has more pixels and a higher refresh-rate ceiling than the P4 Lite’s 720 × 1600, 90Hz display. That makes the P4 5G the stronger on-paper choice for sharper text and images and smoother supported motion. Its Dimensity 7400 Ultra also has a higher listed clock speed and a smaller manufacturing process than the Lite’s UNISOC T7250. These specifications do not, by themselves, establish real-world speed or gaming performance.

Cameras
The P4 5G has a 50MP main camera plus an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 16MP front camera and listed rear video recording up to 4K at 30fps. The P4 Lite lists a single 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and rear video up to 1080p at 30fps. Resolution and recording limits describe hardware capabilities; they do not establish image quality in different lighting or independent camera-test results.
Battery and charging
Realme lists a larger typical battery for the P4 5G—7000mAh versus 6300mAh for the P4 Lite—and much faster charging: 80W versus 15W. Capacity is not a measure of actual endurance, so these figures do not prove which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Independent endurance-test results were not established.

Size, audio and security
The P4 5G is listed as shorter, thinner and lighter, at about 185g compared with the P4 Lite’s about 201g. It also lists stereo speakers and an optical fingerprint sensor, while the Lite has a linear speaker and a side fingerprint sensor. The Lite’s package list includes a case and screen film.
What is the realme P4 price difference in India?
A precise current price gap is not established by the available official listings. The realme Store India P4 5G listing showed ₹30,999 selling price and ₹45,999 MRP for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration when accessed on October 4, 2026. This is a time-sensitive listing snapshot, not a verified launch price. A matching current P4 Lite price and a like-for-like price for other P4 configurations were not established, so do not treat the P4 listing as a direct price comparison.

Choose the realme P4 5G if
- You need 5G support.
- You prefer a higher-resolution 144Hz AMOLED display.
- You want the more capable listed camera hardware and 4K rear-video recording.
- Faster listed charging is important to you.
Consider the realme P4 Lite (4G) if
- A basic 4G phone meets your needs.
- You are comfortable with an HD+ 90Hz display, entry-level listed chipset, simpler cameras and 15W charging.
- You want a large stated battery capacity in a simpler specification set; real-world battery life has not been independently established here.
Check the model name: P4 Lite 4G is not P4 Lite 5G
This comparison is between the P4 5G and the 4G P4 Lite on realme’s P4 Lite specifications page. Realme also lists a separate realme P4 Lite 5G, with different specifications, including a 7000mAh battery, 144Hz display, D6300 chipset and realme UI 7.0. Realme’s P4 series launch page says the P4 5G launch was scheduled for August 20 at noon, but does not provide a dependable launch-price breakdown. The store snapshot above should therefore not be read as launch pricing.
