The Redmi Turbo 5 has the stronger published battery and charging specifications; the realme P3 Ultra has the larger curved display and a lower price in some India-market listings. Which is the better buy depends on the exact configuration, current checkout price and features you value. The comparison below uses India-market specifications; regional versions and retail prices may differ.

These are manufacturer-published India specifications. They describe hardware and software, not independently measured speed, battery life, charging time or camera quality. Peak-brightness claims may also use different measurement methods.
Which phone has the better display?
The P3 Ultra has the larger screen: 6.83 inches, with curved edges and a listed resolution of 2800 × 1272 pixels. Choose it if you prefer a more expansive display for video, reading or games, and like the look and feel of a curved panel.
The Redmi Turbo 5’s 6.59-inch screen is the smaller of the two. It is listed as a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also advertises a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, but the cited specifications do not establish a directly comparable brightness measurement for the realme. Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
The Redmi Turbo 5 leads on the published numbers: its battery is specified at 7540mAh and its charging at 100W. The P3 Ultra is specified at 6000mAh typical capacity (5860mAh rated) and 80W charging. Both manufacturers include an adapter in the box according to the cited product specifications.
Those figures do not guarantee a particular battery runtime or charging time. Actual results depend on usage and conditions, and no matched independent endurance or charging test is available here. The Redmi is the more compelling choice if you are prioritizing stated battery capacity and charging wattage, not a guaranteed number of hours saved or gained.
How do the processors and performance claims compare?
realme lists a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra, with a stated maximum frequency of 3.35GHz; Xiaomi lists a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, up to 3.4GHz. Both are listed as 4nm chipsets. The model names and clock speeds alone are not enough to establish how the phones perform in everyday use.

The companies have published different AnTuTu claims: realme said the P3 Ultra scored over 1.45 million in its March 10, 2025 launch release, while Xiaomi India’s 2026 product FAQ says the Redmi Turbo 5 scores over 2.3 million. These are manufacturer figures, and the consulted Xiaomi material does not specify benchmark conditions. They are not results from a controlled, independent head-to-head test, so they should not be treated as a reliable measure of the performance gap. Which phone has the better cameras?
On the cited India specifications, both phones have a 50MP rear main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. realme names a Sony IMX896 main sensor and lists a 16MP front camera; Xiaomi names a Sony IMX882 main sensor and lists a 20MP front camera.
Sensor names and megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. The available information does not provide a matched camera test, so choose based on hands-on samples if camera quality is a deciding factor.

How do software and update support compare?
The P3 Ultra is listed with realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15; the Redmi Turbo 5 is listed with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Xiaomi India states four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the Redmi Turbo 5. A Gadgets Now comparison listing reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the P3 Ultra, but the consulted official realme specifications page does not confirm that duration. Verify realme’s current support policy before treating the database listing as definitive.

Gadgets Now lists a realme P3 Ultra at ₹31,999 and the Redmi Turbo 5 at ₹41,999, a ₹10,000 gap between those particular listings. The same comparison page also shows a P3 Ultra 8GB/256GB listing at ₹28,999, so the difference changes with the specific listing and configuration.
