Which phone has the stronger performance case?
The listed chipsets are different: realme specifies the Dimensity 8350 Ultra, while Samsung specifies the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The specifications alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming; no matched independent benchmark is available here.
realme reports an AnTuTu score of 1,450,000+ from realme Lab on its current India product page. The company says results can vary with test environment and calculation method, so treat this as a manufacturer claim rather than a directly comparable test against the M47. realme’s March 2025 launch announcement also claims stable 90fps BGMI gameplay for three hours; that marketing claim is not a guarantee of sustained frame rates for every player or setting.

How do the displays differ?
Both phones list 120Hz AMOLED displays, but their stated resolutions and shapes differ. realme advertises a 1.5K quad-curved panel, while Samsung lists an FHD+ 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED screen in a 6.91-inch class. The Samsung page gives a specific size class; the realme details cited here do not provide a comparable screen-size figure.
The P3 Ultra’s higher-resolution specification may appeal if pixel density is a priority. Its curved sides are a separate preference: some buyers may prefer the look, while others may favor a flatter screen for their handling needs. The M47’s listed FHD+ resolution is lower on paper, but the specification comparison cannot determine perceived image quality.
Battery capacity is equal; charging claims are not
Both manufacturers list a 6000mAh typical battery capacity. realme specifies 80W charging, compared with Samsung’s 45W fast charging; Samsung says the fast charger is sold separately.

realme says the P3 Ultra can charge from 1% to 100% in 47 minutes, based on its lab testing. The company notes that results vary with environment and test setup. Samsung lists up to 28 hours of video playback for the M47, but that is a manufacturer-stated figure, not a matched battery-life test against the P3 Ultra.
Camera and video differences
realme lists a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Its product specifications and launch announcement advertise 4K video recording at 60fps.
Samsung lists a 50MP, 5MP and 2MP rear-camera setup with OIS and UHD 4K recording at 30fps. The cited Samsung page also lists a 12MP front camera. These specifications describe different camera configurations and maximum stated video frame rates; they do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixel counts alone are not a reliable measure of image quality.

Which has the longer stated software support?
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 receives six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch. Its India product page lists July 31, 2032 as the security-update end date. Samsung also says the stated update policies are subject to change, and the available information does not establish the M47’s final Android version.

How to compare prices fairly
The official pages cited for both phones do not establish a reliable current transaction price, so an exact price gap cannot be stated from them. Avoid treating an older launch price as today’s price. Before buying, compare listings for the same RAM and storage, and check the seller, stock, warranty and any sale or bank-discount conditions. A price that applies only to a different configuration or an expiring offer is not a like-for-like comparison.
