For India buyers comparing the same 8GB/128GB configuration, the available price references put both the realme P3 Ultra 5G and Samsung Galaxy A27 5G at ₹31,999—a ₹0 difference. Those figures are not synchronized live quotes, however. On specifications, realme highlights a 6000mAh battery, 80W charging and a Dimensity 8350 Ultra chip; Samsung’s strongest differentiator is its announced long-term software support, alongside a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display.
How much is the price difference?
For matching 8GB/128GB India variants, the cited reference prices are both ₹31,999, making the difference ₹0 on those specific references. The realme figure is a third-party listing dated September 11, 2026; Samsung’s is its June 30, 2026 launch-announcement price. They are not current, synchronized seller quotes, so check the same retailer, configuration, and offer terms before buying.
Samsung’s launch announcement also listed 6GB/128GB at ₹28,999 and 8GB/256GB at ₹37,499, with ₹3,000 cashback described. These are launch figures, not a guarantee of today’s selling price. A Samsung store capture later showed ₹38,999 for 8GB/128GB, but its listed offer expired October 6, 2026; that expired offer should not be treated as a current price.
Which phone has better specifications?
Neither phone wins every category. The P3 Ultra has the larger stated battery, faster specified wired charging, a higher-resolution ultra-wide camera and a higher-tier-sounding chipset designation. The Galaxy A27 offers a 120Hz Super AMOLED screen, a dedicated macro camera and a clearly stated software-support commitment. The specifications below are for India models.

What do the display and performance differences mean?
Display size and design
The P3 Ultra has the larger screen at 6.83 inches, compared with 6.7 inches on the A27. Both specifications list a refresh rate up to 120Hz. realme specifies 2800 × 1272 resolution and calls its panel quad-curved AMOLED; Samsung specifies FHD+ Super AMOLED. These labels describe different stated panel specifications, not a direct independent assessment of image quality.
Chipsets
The P3 Ultra uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultra, while Samsung lists Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Both are 4nm chips, but the names and manufacturer specifications alone do not establish how much faster one phone will feel in a particular app or game. No independent comparative benchmark or test of these two phones is available here, so avoid treating a claimed or inferred performance gap as a measured result.
Rank #2
- Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset: The Realme GT6 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, designed to easily handle high load scenarios in gaming, providing smooth multitasking performance and excellent energy efficiency. Users can flexibly control device performance between 50% and 100% by adjusting CPU and GPU performance settings to meet different needs.
- Ultra bright display technology: The GT6 uses cutting-edge luminescent materials to create an easy to read and visually stunning screen experience. Its ultra-high brightness display screen (up to 6000 nits) and 2160 Hz PWM dimming function not only improve viewing comfort, but also ensure the accuracy of color display.
- Top of the line Sony LYT-808 OIS camera: The GT6 is equipped with an industry-leading 1/1.4-inch large-sized sensor, providing unparalleled performance for night photography. With the HyperTone imaging engine, realistic colors and delicate light and shadow contrasts can be captured in both bright and dim environments. Super OIS technology further enhances image stability and clarity, improving the success rate of shooting.
- Iceberg Steam Cooling System: By combining 10014 square millimeters of 3D tempered dual VC heat dissipation plates and a 9-layer cooling structure, coupled with side full zone cooling design, GT6 achieves efficient and consistent high-performance gaming experience, while significantly reducing heat perception and ensuring temperature control during long-term gaming.
- Intelligent prediction and personalized advice: The built-in artificial intelligence can identify your usage habits, predict your needs, and provide accurate advice. For example, when you long press the text to book a hotel, the AI will automatically pop up a series of map prompts to help you quickly find the best route to your destination.
Which phone has the stronger battery and camera setup?
Battery and charging
realme lists a 6000mAh typical capacity and an 80W charging system for the P3 Ultra; its India specifications also give a 5860mAh rated capacity. Samsung lists a 5000mAh battery for the A27 and describes fast charging without stating a wattage in the cited launch material. Capacity and charging figures do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which depend on use and conditions.
The included accessories can affect what you need to buy separately: realme lists an 80W adapter in the box, while Samsung’s store page says the A27 includes a data cable but not a travel adapter.
Rank #3
Rear and front cameras
Both phones have a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization. The P3 Ultra pairs it with an 8MP ultra-wide camera; the A27 uses a 5MP ultra-wide and adds a 2MP macro camera. That makes the choice partly about which secondary view matters more to you: the higher-resolution ultra-wide on paper or a dedicated macro option. The P3 Ultra lists a 16MP front camera, versus 12MP for the A27. Megapixel counts do not by themselves establish photo quality.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How long will each phone receive software support?
Samsung announced that the Galaxy A27 would receive six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades plus six years of security updates. Samsung’s India specification page states security support through July 31, 2032. This is Samsung’s announced policy; it is not an independent guarantee of update quality or timing for every release.
The P3 Ultra’s India specification identifies realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The cited realme material does not establish a comparable support duration, so the available evidence does not support a like-for-like years-of-updates comparison.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the realme P3 Ultra on specifications if you prioritize the larger stated battery, 80W charging, a larger curved display, or an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Its 80W adapter is listed as included.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy A27 if Samsung’s stated six-generation OS/One UI upgrade policy and six years of security updates matter most, or you prefer a dedicated macro camera and a Super AMOLED display.
- Decide on price only after checking current listings for the exact RAM/storage variant. The matching 8GB/128GB references above are dated and do not establish which phone is cheaper today.
