The realme P3 Pro 5G leads on the published specifications for display size and resolution, charging speed, and chipset; Samsung’s Galaxy M47 5G lists a more versatile rear-camera array and a defined six-year software-support commitment. Which is the better buy depends on the exact variant’s current price and whether you value those features more than the other phone’s strengths.

Manufacturer specifications are the best basis for comparing listed hardware, but they do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, takes better photos, or lasts longer on a charge. Those judgments need comparable independent testing.
How do the displays compare?
The realme P3 Pro has the larger, higher-resolution screen on paper: 6.83 inches at 1.5K resolution, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a quad-curved design. Samsung lists a roughly 6.66-inch Super AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2340, also with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. The realme listing favors size and resolution, while Samsung specifies Super AMOLED; preference for a curved or flat-looking screen and its appearance is personal.

Which phone should you choose for performance or gaming?
realme specifies a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while Samsung specifies a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The chipset names alone do not prove which handset will perform better for a particular game or workload. Actual results can depend on the game, software, cooling, and settings, and this comparison has no matched performance tests.
If you are choosing mainly for gaming, check independent tests of the exact models and the games you play rather than treating the processor names as a benchmark result.

Battery capacity and charging: what the specifications establish
realme states that the P3 Pro battery is 6000 mAh typical and 5860 mAh rated, and advertises 80 W charging. Its claim that charging goes from 1% to 50% in 24 minutes is a manufacturer figure, not a same-condition comparison with Samsung. Samsung lists 5,882 mAh rated capacity; comparison data lists 45 W charging for the M47.
These capacities and charging ratings do not show which phone lasts longer in real use. Usage, network conditions, screen settings, and charging conditions affect results. realme also notes that battery figures and lab data can vary with environment and usage.

Camera hardware and practical flexibility
The P3 Pro lists a 50 MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2 MP secondary camera. Samsung lists three rear cameras at 50 MP, 5 MP, and 2 MP, plus a 12 MP front camera. The extra rear camera gives the Galaxy M47 a more flexible listed camera setup, but the specifications alone do not establish image quality, low-light performance, or video results.
Software updates and long-term ownership
Samsung says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch. That is a clearly stated support commitment. Secondary comparison data lists two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the realme P3 Pro; confirm the current policy directly with realme before relying on it.

Price difference in India: check the exact variant
A 91mobiles comparison-page snapshot accessed in 2026 showed ₹20,999 for the realme P3 Pro and ₹35,999 for the Galaxy M47 5G, a difference of ₹15,000 in that snapshot. Other comparison pages surfaced different M47 prices, so these figures are not a guaranteed current selling price. Check the live listing for the same memory and storage configuration, seller, offer, and stock before comparing value.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the realme P3 Pro if the larger, sharper curved display and its advertised 80 W charging are priorities, and you prefer its listed chipset.
- Choose the Galaxy M47 5G if you want the more versatile listed rear-camera array or value Samsung’s stated six-generation OS and six-year security-update commitment.
- Compare exact prices before deciding: a substantial price gap between matching variants can change which phone offers better value.
Do not treat either phone as waterproof: realme says its water- and dust-resistance testing covers IP69, IP68, and IP66, warns that resistance can decline over time, and states that immersion damage is not covered by the warranty. Check the full manufacturer terms for the specific handset.
