Display: similar refresh-rate ceiling, different panel labels
Both phones list FHD+ resolution and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. realme specifies a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel; Samsung calls the M47 panel Super AMOLED. Those labels and the shared refresh-rate ceiling do not establish which screen looks better: the cited specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of brightness, color accuracy or viewing performance.

Cameras: stabilization is a notable M47 specification
The M47 lists three rear cameras—50 MP, 5 MP and 2 MP—and optical image stabilization (OIS) on the rear camera. The P3 lists a 50 MP main camera and 2 MP bokeh camera. OIS is a hardware stabilization feature, but these specifications do not prove which phone takes better photos or video. Capacity figures alone also cannot establish which phone lasts longer between charges.
At approximately 194 g, the P3 is listed as lighter than the M47 at 206 g. Those are manufacturer specifications, not a measure of how either phone feels in the hand.
Storage and SIM trade-offs
The P3 global page lists 8 GB or 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, and a dual nano-SIM arrangement in which the second slot can accept a SIM or SD card. Samsung’s cited India version has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, plus a hybrid SIM/microSD slot supporting microSD cards up to 2 TB. Software support: Samsung states a specific policy
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 receives six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch, subject to change. Its product information gives a security-update period through July 31, 2032. The listed launch date is June 29, 2026. These dates and commitments are Samsung’s published India product information, not a guarantee that every update arrives on the same date in every region.
The cited realme P3 specifications list realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, but do not give a comparable support duration. That is a gap in the published information cited here; it does not establish that realme offers no updates.
