Which phone is faster?
GT 7T: more performance-oriented hardware
The GT 7T pairs a Dimensity 8400-MAX with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. The 15T uses a Dimensity 6400 Max and LPDDR4X memory. On those specifications, the GT 7T is the stronger fit for demanding games, heavier multitasking and buyers who prioritize higher-end storage technology. These component differences do not establish a particular gaming frame rate or benchmark advantage; no independent benchmark results are cited here.
15T: lower-tier listed platform
The 15T’s official specifications list 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB or 256GB of storage. That is adequate information for comparing configurations, but the cited sources do not provide a matched performance test against the GT 7T.

Display: bigger and sharper on the GT 7T
Smartprix lists the GT 7T with a 6.8-inch, 1280 × 2800 display, compared with the 15T’s 6.57-inch, 1080 × 2372 AMOLED panel. Both are listed at up to 120Hz. The GT 7T therefore offers the larger, higher-resolution screen on paper; the 15T’s smaller screen contributes to its more compact form.
Brightness figures need context. realme says the GT 7T display can reach a local peak of up to 6,000 nits under 100,000 lux in a realme lab test. That is a conditional local peak, not a claim about sustained full-screen brightness in ordinary use. realme lists the 15T at 1,400 nits HBM and 4,000 nits peak. Those figures use different labels and conditions, so they should not be read as a direct real-world brightness test.

The GT 7T has the higher stated charging rate. The shared typical capacity does not show which phone lasts longer: real-world battery life depends on factors such as display use, signal conditions and workload, and no independent runtime comparison is cited.

The GT 7T therefore has a listed ultrawide option, while the 15T lists a monochrome portrait camera. Megapixel counts and camera types alone do not determine which takes better photos.
Selfies and video
The 15T lists a 50MP front camera. realme advertises 4K recording at 60fps on both the front and rear cameras of the GT 7T. These specifications describe resolution and recording modes, not comparative image quality; no camera-sample test is available in the cited sources.

Size, weight and everyday handling
realme lists the 15T at approximately 181g in Titanium and Blue and 183g in Silver. Smartprix lists the GT 7T at 202g. Together with its smaller 6.57-inch display, the 15T is the lighter, more compact option on these cited specifications. Choose it if reducing bulk matters more than having the GT 7T’s larger screen.
Price difference in India
Smartprix listed the realme 15T 5G at ₹26,999 and the realme GT 7T at ₹30,998, making the GT 7T ₹3,999 more expensive in that comparison. The page was marked last updated September 12, 2026; the amounts are indicative listings, not confirmed current prices. Because the listed memory configurations are not confirmed as equivalent, check the live price and exact variant with the retailer before deciding.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the GT 7T if you prioritize the Dimensity 8400-MAX, LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0, a larger and sharper listed display, or 120W charging. Its higher indicative price may be worthwhile if those are the features you will use.
- Choose the 15T 5G if you want a lighter, smaller phone, a listed 50MP selfie camera, or the lower indicative India price. Its 60W charging is slower on paper, but the package specification includes an 80W adapter.
For the best value, compare current retailer prices for the same memory configuration. The dated ₹3,999 difference is a useful reference point, not a guarantee of the price gap at checkout.
