In the India comparison-page snapshot dated August 30, 2026, the realme GT 7T is listed at ₹37,999 and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G at ₹46,939—a ₹8,940 difference. On paper, the GT 7T offers the larger battery and faster wired charging, while the Motorola listing has a three-camera rear setup and newer listed Android version. These are specification listings, not independent performance or camera tests. Motorola’s official specifications page is for the moto edge 70 pro, so the exact identity match to the comparison page’s “Pro Plus 5G” name is not confirmed.
Price difference and variants
Gadgets Now’s India comparison page, displayed as updated August 30, 2026, lists an offer-price snapshot of ₹37,999 for the realme GT 7T and ₹46,939 for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G. That makes the Motorola listing ₹8,940 higher in that snapshot. Prices can change; check the live price and the exact RAM/storage variant before buying.
The page lists GT 7T variants with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Its Motorola rows include 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. Compare matching capacities where possible: the ₹37,999 GT 7T price is attached to the 8GB/256GB version, while the Motorola rows are 12GB configurations.

The same page gives the GT 7T a ₹30,999 list-price figure alongside its ₹37,999 offer price, an internal inconsistency. Treat neither as a reliable general MSRP; the figures above are only the page’s dated price snapshot. See the Gadgets Now comparison listing.

Specifications in the table come from the comparison page, not from side-by-side testing. Motorola’s official support specifications independently list the Dimensity 8500 Extreme, 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W TurboPower wired charging, 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display, and Android 16 for a product called moto edge 70 pro. Motorola says specifications may vary by market. The official page does not establish that this is the same product as the comparison page’s “Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G.” Check Motorola’s moto edge 70 pro specifications.
Battery and charging: GT 7T leads on listed capacity and wattage
The comparison page lists a 7,000mAh battery and 120W charging for the GT 7T, versus 6,500mAh and 90W wired charging for the Motorola entry. Those figures favor the GT 7T on paper for battery capacity and maximum wired charging rate. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish real-world battery life or charging time; no comparative test results are available here.

Processor, display, and software
The listed processors are MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max for the GT 7T and Dimensity 8500 Extreme for the Motorola. A higher model number or different chipset name is not enough to establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming; the consulted sources provide no comparative benchmark results.
Both entries are listed with 6.8-inch displays. The GT 7T is described as AMOLED with Android 15, while the Motorola entry is listed as Extreme AMOLED with Android 16. Motorola’s official page for the differently named moto edge 70 pro specifies refresh rates up to 144Hz and up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. Do not assume those support terms apply to a “Pro Plus 5G” variant unless the exact model is verified.

Rear cameras and durability
The comparison lists two rear cameras for the GT 7T (50MP and 8MP) and three 50MP rear cameras for the Motorola entry. More sensors or megapixels do not by themselves prove better photos, and no side-by-side image test was consulted.
The comparison page lists IP68/IP69 protection for both phones and a Gorilla Glass entry for Motorola. Motorola’s official moto edge 70 pro page specifies IP69/IP68 water protection and Gorilla Glass 7i, but its model-name difference and market-variation warning mean those exact durability details should not be transferred to the “Pro Plus 5G” listing without confirming the device identity.

Which one makes more sense?
- Consider the GT 7T if the dated India offer-price snapshot is close to the price you can actually get, or if its listed larger battery and faster wired charging matter most. Check which RAM/storage configuration the live price applies to.
- Consider the Motorola listing if you prioritize the listed three-camera configuration or Android 16, and can verify the precise model and its local specifications before purchase.
- Do not choose on a claimed performance or photo-quality win from these specifications alone: no comparative benchmarks or camera tests are established by the sources cited here.
