The realme GT 7T is the better specification fit if you want a larger listed battery and faster rated charging; the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G lists a higher refresh rate, more elaborate camera hardware and higher results in 91mobiles’ reported benchmarks. A captured India listing showed Motorola ₹1,590 cheaper, but the phones were listed at different retailers, so that is not a like-for-like or stable price comparison.

Performance: benchmark results favor Motorola, but treat them as one comparison
The Edge 70 Pro’s Dimensity 8500 Extreme carries a higher model number than the GT 7T’s Dimensity 8400 Max, but model names alone do not prove how much faster a phone will feel. In 91mobiles’ comparison, the Edge 70 Pro scored 6,864 in Geekbench multi-core and 2,194,258 in AnTuTu; the GT 7T scored 5,998 and 1,761,804, respectively. These are that publisher’s reported measurements, accessed in 2026—not results from an independently replicated test with a protocol established here.
For everyday use, benchmark gaps are most relevant if you regularly run demanding games, render or edit content, or keep heavy workloads open. They do not establish sustained gaming performance, heat, or battery drain. The listed RAM options overlap at 8 GB and 12 GB, and both listings specify 256 GB storage; Motorola specifies UFS 4.1, while 91mobiles lists UFS 4.0 for realme. Storage generation labels alone do not establish a noticeable difference in ordinary use.

Display: same listed size, Motorola has the higher refresh ceiling
Both phones are listed with 6.8-inch displays and similar pixel counts. The GT 7T listing specifies 1280 × 2800 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Motorola specifies 2772 × 1272 and up to 144 Hz. That gives the Motorola a higher stated refresh ceiling, which may make supported motion look smoother; the benefit depends on settings, app support and content. The available specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of brightness or display quality, and peak-brightness figures can depend on different measurement conditions.
Cameras: Motorola lists more capable hardware, not proven better photos
On paper, the Edge 70 Pro offers a broader camera setup: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus and macro capability, and a 50 MP autofocus front camera. 91mobiles lists the GT 7T with a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP front camera.

Those specifications suggest more flexibility for the Motorola ultrawide and close-up shots, while autofocus on the listed front camera may help with varied selfie distances. Megapixel counts do not determine image quality by themselves: sensor, lens, processing and shooting conditions matter. No matched camera samples or comparable camera test were established, so the hardware figures are not proof that one phone consistently takes better photos.

91mobiles lists the GT 7T with a 7,000 mAh battery and 120 W charging. Motorola’s official India specifications list a 6,500 mAh battery and 90 W wired charging for the Edge 70 Pro. The GT 7T therefore has the larger stated capacity and higher charging rating, but those numbers do not guarantee a particular screen-on time or charge time; real results vary with use, temperature, charger and other conditions.

91mobiles’ comparison reports PCMark battery results of 16 hours 05 minutes for the GT 7T and 14 hours 01 minute for the Edge 70 Pro. These are publisher-reported test figures, not a promise of typical battery life. The available comparison does not establish the full test protocol, so use them as a directional result rather than a direct prediction for your routine.
Software support: check the regional promise and its timing
Motorola’s official India listing says the Edge 70 Pro receives up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. 91mobiles lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the GT 7T. The source and wording differ, and the available details do not establish a common support start date or a market-by-market policy comparison. If you keep phones for several years, confirm the commitment for the exact model and region, including when its update period begins.

Price difference in India: a snapshot, not a fixed ranking
When the 91mobiles comparison page was accessed in 2026, it listed the realme GT 7T at ₹38,589 on Amazon and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G at ₹36,999 on Flipkart. The displayed difference was ₹1,590, with Motorola lower. Because the listings were from different retailers, they may differ in variant, seller, discounts, stock or warranty terms; the gap should not be read as a like-for-like street-price comparison.

That is a different listing context and should not be combined with the retailer comparison to declare a definitive winner on price. Before checkout, compare the same RAM and storage variant, seller reputation, warranty, stock and final price after any bank or checkout offers.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme GT 7T if your priorities are the larger listed battery, higher rated charging, or the longer software-update durations reported by 91mobiles—and you have verified those details for your regional model.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Pro if you value a 144 Hz stated refresh ceiling, the listed OIS main camera and autofocus 50 MP ultrawide, or the higher benchmark results reported by 91mobiles.
- Let the live offer decide if both phones meet your needs. Compare equivalent configurations and purchase terms rather than relying on a price gap captured at different retailers.
Neither specification sheet establishes an unconditional winner. The better choice depends on which trade-offs matter most and the price available for the exact version you can buy.
