The realme GT 7 is the higher-tier option on paper, with a more powerful listed processor platform, a dedicated 2x telephoto camera, Wi-Fi 7 and 120W charging. An exact current price gap cannot be confirmed from the available listings: GT 7 prices below are its dated May 2025 India launch prices, while the P4s listing did not show a legible price.

Specifications are manufacturer claims or reported launch details, not results from a hands-on comparison. A higher specification in one row does not by itself establish a particular difference in everyday speed, image quality, battery life or charging time.
Performance: GT 7 has the higher-tier listed platform
The GT 7 pairs its Dimensity 9400e with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. The P4s lists a Dimensity 7400 Ultra, LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1. That makes the GT 7 the stronger-looking platform on paper, particularly for buyers who value the listed processor and memory/storage tiers. No directly comparable benchmark results are established here, so the specifications should not be translated into a promised percentage or specific real-world speed advantage.

Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Cameras: GT 7 adds a dedicated telephoto
Both phones list a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. The GT 7’s additional 50MP 2x telephoto with OIS gives it a distinct hardware option for tighter framing without relying solely on a crop from the main camera. It also lists a 32MP front camera, compared with 16MP on the P4s. These hardware differences do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparative testing.

Display: choose between refresh rate and the GT 7’s advertised peak
The P4s lists a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, versus 120Hz for the GT 7. A higher refresh-rate ceiling may appeal to people who prioritize smoother motion in supported content. realme describes the GT 7 panel as a “6000nit Pro-Esports Display Pro-level Touch, Cinema-grade Display, Paper-like Eye Care.” That is manufacturer marketing language: its advertised peak brightness should not be directly compared with another phone’s typical brightness or high-brightness-mode figure.
Battery capacity versus charging speed
The P4s has the larger stated capacity: 8000mAh typical and 7820mAh rated, compared with the GT 7’s 7000mAh. Capacity alone does not determine how long a phone lasts; display use, software, signal conditions and other factors affect endurance, and no comparative battery test is available here. On charging, the listed maximums go the other way: up to 120W for the GT 7 and up to 80W for the P4s. Advertised charging results depend on conditions, so the wattage figures do not guarantee a particular time to full charge.

Connectivity and protection
The GT 7 launch specifications list Wi-Fi 7 and IP69. The P4s specifications list Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4, but do not state an IP rating. That absence is not evidence that the P4s lacks protection; check the complete official product documentation for the exact variant before relying on a water- or dust-resistance rating.
Price difference in India: current gap is not established

The official realme India Store listing confirms the P4s 5G, but its price and complete configuration-specific offer were not legible in the retrieved listing. Therefore, a reliable current rupee difference cannot be calculated. For a fair comparison, check both phones’ live prices for matching RAM and storage, in the same market and at the same time; account separately for bank offers, exchange deals and other conditional discounts.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the GT 7 on specifications if you want the higher-tier listed processor, LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0, a dedicated 2x telephoto, Wi-Fi 7, IP69 listed in its launch specifications, or the higher advertised charging rate.
- Consider the P4s if the larger stated battery capacity or its 144Hz refresh-rate ceiling matters more to you than the GT 7’s hardware distinctions.
- Decide on value only after checking live prices for comparable memory and storage configurations. The dated GT 7 launch prices and unconfirmed P4s price do not support a current price-gap claim.
These recommendations follow the listed specifications, not independent benchmark, camera, battery or charging tests.
