The realme GT 7 is the stronger choice if you want the higher-tier chipset and faster wired charging. The realme 15 Pro 5G is the better fit if you want a 144Hz curved display, a lighter body and a 50MP selfie camera. Both phones list a 7000mAh battery, so capacity alone does not separate them. The price gap depends on which retailer snapshot you read, which is covered in detail below. This comparison is for the India market, where both phones were launched and priced in rupees.

Performance: where the GT 7 pulls ahead
The GT 7 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e, which is the higher-tier platform of the two on paper. The 15 Pro uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. realme lists LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage for the GT 7 on its India product page. For the 15 Pro, 91mobiles lists LPDDR4X memory, a slower standard than LPDDR5X, but memory and storage can differ between configurations, so check the exact model you are buying.

A higher-tier chipset on a spec sheet does not guarantee faster everyday use or better gaming. No head-to-head benchmark or sustained-performance test for these two phones was available at the time of writing, so treat the processor gap as a hardware difference rather than a measured result.

Qualcomm’s India executive Saurabh Arora, quoted in realme’s newsroom announcement for the 15 Pro, said the phone “sets a new standard for performance, intelligence, and efficiency” on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. That is a vendor’s promotional statement, not an independent finding. The realme India newsroom announcement is the original source.
Display and design: where the 15 Pro leads
The 15 Pro’s clearest advantage is its display. realme lists a 144Hz refresh rate on a curved AMOLED panel, marketed as HyperGlow 4D Curve+. The GT 7 uses an 8T LTPO AMOLED panel that comparison sites list at 120Hz. LTPO panels can change refresh rate dynamically to save power, so the GT 7’s panel type is a different design choice rather than a simple downgrade. The 15 Pro’s higher listed refresh rate is the more noticeable number when you scroll or play fast games, but whether it matters depends on how you use the phone.
The 15 Pro is also lighter and thinner on paper: 187g and 7.69mm against 203g and 8.25mm for the GT 7, according to Gadgets 360. Both phones are listed with IP69 water and dust resistance. Weight and thickness can vary slightly by configuration, so the figures above are the listed values rather than guarantees.

Battery and charging
Both phones advertise a 7000mAh battery. realme’s GT 7 page describes 7000mAh as a typical capacity and gives a rated capacity of 6830mAh, with both figures based on lab measurements. The practical gap is charging speed: the GT 7 is listed at 120W and the 15 Pro at 80W, both on realme’s India product pages.
Faster rated charging means the GT 7 should reach a full charge sooner under comparable conditions, but realme notes that actual battery life and charging times depend on usage and environment. Neither phone’s manufacturer page establishes a universal charge time or runtime, so use the wattage as a relative indicator, not a stopwatch.
Cameras: read the numbers with care
The GT 7’s rear setup is built around a Sony IMX906 main sensor, with a 50MP 2x camera and an 8MP wide-angle lens listed on realme’s page. Comparison sites describe the same phone with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 2x telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide. The 15 Pro is listed with a 50MP main and a 50MP ultrawide, with no telephoto lens. If a telephoto lens matters to you, the GT 7 is the one to choose.

- 161.8 x 76.9 x 8.2 mm (6.37 x 3.03 x 0.32 in)
The 15 Pro has the higher listed front-camera resolution at 50MP, against 32MP for the GT 7 in the Gadgets 360 comparison. Megapixel counts do not show image quality, which depends on sensor size, stabilisation, lens quality and processing. No camera test results for either phone were available in the sources reviewed, so no conclusion about photo quality is drawn here.

There is no single, stable price difference between these phones. The two sources below disagree substantially on the GT 7, and neither states which memory and storage configuration it priced.

On the Smartprix snapshot, the GT 7 costs ₹2,000 more than the 15 Pro. On the 91mobiles Amazon India reference, the gap is ₹17,200 in the other direction of magnitude, with the GT 7 far higher. These are observed listings at two different moments, not official launch prices or guaranteed offers, and neither value should be treated as a checkout price.
