In the India price snapshot available on 7 October 2026, the iQOO 15R was listed for about ₹12,000 more than the realme GT 7—but the GT 7 was marked out of stock. The choice is less about a clear overall winner than priorities: the 15R has the newer listed chipset and larger battery, while the GT 7’s reported advantages include a larger display, faster wired charging and a 50MP telephoto camera.
India price and availability
Prices below are snapshots, not guaranteed current offers. 91mobiles listed the realme GT 7 at ₹41,999 and marked it out of stock. It listed the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990 on Amazon, while iQOO’s official India store listed the 8GB/256GB version at ₹53,999 including taxes when accessed on 7 October 2026. At those listed prices, the gap is approximately ₹12,000; check current stock, configuration and checkout price before deciding.

For the realme GT 7, these specifications come from 91mobiles; the source set does not include a current realme manufacturer product page. iQOO’s official listing confirms the 15R’s chipset, 8GB/12GB RAM choices, storage variants, battery, charging, cameras and software name. The 91mobiles comparison gives a different refresh-rate figure for the 15R than iQOO’s 144Hz store headline, so treat the manufacturer’s figure as its advertised claim rather than a settled like-for-like comparison. The iQOO 15R has the newer listed platform, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while the GT 7 is reported with MediaTek Dimensity 9400e. Both are positioned with premium performance silicon; chipset names alone cannot establish which will feel faster in every app, game or sustained workload.

91mobiles publishes the following comparison results: AnTuTu scores of 3,078,708 for the iQOO 15R and 2,125,733 for the realme GT 7, plus Geekbench multi-core scores of 9,090 and 7,308 respectively. These are figures published by 91mobiles, not tests conducted for this article. The cited comparison extract does not provide full test methods or conditions, so use them as reported results rather than promises of everyday performance.
Which has the better display?
The GT 7’s reported 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel is larger than the iQOO 15R’s officially listed 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen. Choose the realme on screen size if a broader viewing area is the priority. iQOO advertises a 144Hz refresh rate, but 91mobiles lists a conflicting figure; the available sources do not settle that discrepancy. The GT 7’s 120Hz figure is from the 91mobiles comparison.

Which has the better camera setup?
The clearest hardware distinction is the GT 7’s reported 50MP telephoto camera with 2× zoom. The iQOO 15R’s official listing specifies a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, but does not list a telephoto camera. If you want a dedicated telephoto lens on the stated specifications, the GT 7 is the stronger fit. Both are listed with a 32MP front camera; megapixel counts do not establish comparative image quality.

The iQOO 15R has the larger stated battery: 7,600mAh typical, compared with the GT 7’s reported 7,000mAh. The realme has the higher stated wired charging rate, 120W versus 100W. Capacity and charging wattage point in different directions; neither specification alone determines actual battery life or charge time.

91mobiles also reports PCMark battery-test times of 18 hours 23 minutes for the iQOO 15R and 16 hours 37 minutes for the GT 7. The comparison extract does not state full test conditions, so these results should not be treated as guaranteed real-world runtimes.
Software, storage and what comes in the box
iQOO’s India listing names OriginOS 6.0 and offers the 15R in 256GB and 512GB storage configurations, with 8GB or 12GB RAM options. 91mobiles reports UFS 4.1 storage for the 15R and UFS 4.0 for the GT 7, but the available source set does not include an official realme listing to independently verify the latter. The update-support figures—four OS years and six security years for each phone—are secondary-source claims and should be checked against current regional policies before purchase.

iQOO says the 15R box includes the phone, eject tool, warranty card, quick-start guide, phone case, charger and USB cable. A separate case is therefore not essential for the included package, though accessory fit should be checked for the exact model.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the realme GT 7 if
- You want the larger reported 6.78-inch display.
- A dedicated 50MP 2× telephoto camera matters more than the 15R’s listed camera arrangement.
- You value the higher stated wired charging rate, 120W.
- You can find it in stock at a price that makes sense against the iQOO 15R.
Choose the iQOO 15R if
- You prioritize its officially listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and 7,600mAh typical battery.
- You want the official 15R configuration details and a choice of 256GB or 512GB storage.
- You prefer its smaller 6.59-inch screen and manufacturer-advertised 144Hz refresh rate.
- The live price difference is acceptable for your budget.
At similar transaction prices, the GT 7’s screen size and reported telephoto hardware may be more compelling for those specific needs; the iQOO 15R is the more natural match for buyers prioritizing battery capacity or its listed newer chipset. Because the observed price snapshot showed the GT 7 out of stock, availability and the actual price you can pay should lead the final decision.
