The realme GT 7 Pro and Apple iPhone 18 Pro target different priorities: the realme lists 120W wired charging and a 3x periscope camera, while Apple highlights a variable-aperture main camera and its A20 Pro chip. There is no reliable single price difference to quote across them: the available figures are a U.S. iPhone starting price and historical realme launch prices from India, not same-market current quotes.
At a glance: what the specifications show
| Feature | realme GT 7 Pro | Apple iPhone 18 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite, according to realme’s global product page | A20 Pro, according to Apple |
| Main camera | 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera; the global page also lists a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide | 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4 and configurable camera controls |
| Battery and charging | 120W charging; global page lists 6500mAh typical capacity. The India model was reported with 5800mAh. | Apple claims up to 36 hours of video playback for eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro models. This is a vendor playback estimate, not a comparable battery-capacity or independent endurance result. |
| Durability and connectivity | IP69 dust and water resistance; LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage | N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread; C2 cellular modem |
| Storage and listed configurations | India launch configurations reported as 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB | 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB |
| Price evidence | India launch prices in November 2024: ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹65,999 for 16GB/512GB | U.S. starting price of $1,199, announced in September 2026 |
These are specifications and manufacturer claims, not evidence that one phone is faster, lasts longer, or takes better photos in real use. No independent head-to-head benchmark is established by the cited material. Apple says the A20 Pro offers up to 40% better sustained performance than the previous generation; that is Apple’s own claim, not a comparison with the realme. See realme’s specifications and Apple’s announcement.
How the cameras differ
realme: dedicated 3x telephoto hardware
The realme global listing specifies a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide. That gives the published camera setup a clearly specified optical-zoom option for distant subjects.
iPhone: variable aperture on the main camera
Apple specifies a 48MP main camera with a variable ƒ/1.48–ƒ/4 aperture and configurable camera controls. Those features describe the hardware and controls, but megapixel counts and aperture ranges do not establish which phone produces better photographs. Lighting, processing, focus, and the kind of shot all matter; the cited information does not provide a controlled photo comparison.

Battery capacity, charging and endurance
Battery figures vary by realme market version. Its global page gives a 6500mAh typical dual-cell capacity, while a November 2024 India launch report gives 5800mAh for the India model and 6500mAh for the China model. Do not treat 6500mAh as a universal GT 7 Pro specification.
realme lists 120W charging globally. The India launch report attributed a 1–100% charging time of 30 minutes to realme; it is a manufacturer claim reported at launch, not an independent test result. Apple instead gives an “up to 36 hours” video-playback claim for eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro models. Capacity, charging wattage, and a vendor-stated playback estimate measure different things, so they do not settle which phone lasts longer. A comparable independent endurance and charging test would be needed for that verdict.

Price difference: why these figures are not a fair comparison
The available numbers come from different countries, dates, and storage configurations. Apple’s $1,199 figure is the U.S. starting price announced in 2026. The reported realme figures are India launch prices from 2024, not verified current prices. Converting rupees to dollars would not make them equivalent: local taxes, retailer pricing, promotions, stock, and storage tiers differ.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches| Phone and market | Configuration | Price and date context |
|---|---|---|
| realme GT 7 Pro, India | 12GB RAM / 256GB storage | ₹59,999 launch price; reported November 26, 2024 |
| realme GT 7 Pro, India | 16GB RAM / 512GB storage | ₹65,999 launch price; reported November 26, 2024 |
| iPhone 18 Pro, United States | Starting configuration; Apple lists 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB options | From $1,199 at announcement in September 2026 |
For a meaningful price difference, compare new phones sold in the same country on the same date, from similar types of sellers, with storage as close as possible. Include tax and carrier terms consistently, and check the exact regional GT 7 Pro version. The launch figures above do not establish today’s local prices. Which should you choose?
- Consider the realme GT 7 Pro if Android, its specified 3x periscope camera, and 120W wired charging fit your priorities. Verify the battery capacity and support terms for the exact market SKU: the India launch report said three years of software updates and four years of security updates, but current regional terms should be confirmed with realme.
- Consider the iPhone 18 Pro if you want iOS and Apple’s stated camera controls, variable-aperture main camera, and Apple ecosystem features. Apple’s announcement reports availability beginning September 18, 2026 in many markets, with additional markets from September 25; availability varies by country.
- Do not choose on a claimed performance or battery winner from these specifications alone. The cited evidence does not provide a direct independent comparison of sustained performance, everyday battery life, or image quality.
Check local service, warranty, software support, and live pricing before buying; those terms can differ by region and retailer.
