The realme GT 6 has the higher-tier listed chipset and a more extensive rear-camera setup; the GT 6T shares its display size and resolution, battery capacity, and charging rating. The specifications alone do not establish which takes better photos, lasts longer, or offers better value. A reliable current price difference is not established here, so compare the same storage configuration in your market before deciding.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent test results. The GT 6T values come from realme’s global GT 6T specifications; GT 6 values come from realme India’s GT 6 specifications. Regional versions and retail bundles should be checked before purchase.
Which has the better performance?
GT 6: higher-tier listed chipset
The GT 6 is listed with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the GT 6T uses the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. That makes the GT 6 the higher-spec choice on paper. The chipset names do not, by themselves, quantify the difference you will see in gaming, sustained workloads, heat, or everyday responsiveness; comparable independent tests would be needed for that.

For a buying decision, look for tests of the exact regional models and software versions you can purchase. Sustained gaming performance can depend on cooling and software as well as the processor, and short benchmark results are not a guarantee of long-session performance.
#1 Best Overall

- 256GB ROM Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 14, Realme UI 5.0, Qualcomm SM7675 Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (4 nm), Octa-core (1x2.8 GHz Cortex-X4 & 4x2.6 GHz Cortex-A720 & 3x1.9 GHz Cortex-A520), Adreno 732
- Rear: 50MP+8MP, Front: 32MP
Which phone has the better camera?
The GT 6 has the more extensive rear-camera specification: its India page lists a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide, and an additional 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 camera. The GT 6T global page lists a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide.
This is a hardware comparison, not proof that every GT 6 photo will look better. Sensor resolution and camera count do not establish image quality across daylight, low light, video, or moving subjects. Check sample photos and independent camera tests for the exact regional variants if photography is a deciding factor.
Are the displays, batteries, and charging the same?
Display specifications
Both reviewed specification pages list a 6.78-inch display with 2780 × 1264 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. realme’s global product page describes up to 6000 nits as a local peak brightness figure measured in its lab under more than 100,000 lux, and says actual test data may vary by environment or calculation method. It should not be read as ordinary full-screen brightness; the figure is a manufacturer claim, not an independent measurement. See realme’s GT 6 product page.

Battery and charging
Both pages list 5500mAh typical battery capacity and 120W charging. Matching stated capacity and charging ratings do not establish equal battery life or charging time. Those outcomes depend on use, network conditions, settings, temperature, and the charging setup.
What about software and updates?
The specification pages list Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 for both phones. That is the software baseline shown on those pages, not confirmation of the latest installed version or how many updates remain. Check the current update status and regional support policy for the exact model before buying, especially if long-term software support matters to you.
How to compare the price fairly
The reviewed official specification pages do not establish current retail prices, and a trustworthy current price gap cannot be stated from them. Prices can vary by country, date, memory and storage configuration, seller, warranty, and promotions. The GT 6 source here is specifically its India specification page, while the GT 6T source is global; that is not a like-for-like regional price comparison.

- Choose the country and authorized retail market you will buy from.
- Compare the same RAM and storage configuration, rather than an entry-level version of one phone with a higher-capacity version of the other.
- Check warranty coverage, seller, included charger, and any bundled offer, since these can change the effective value.
- Use prices available on the same date. Do not treat a historical launch announcement or undated comparison listing as today’s price.
realme’s June 20, 2024 launch announcement is historical context, not evidence of current retail pricing.

- Choose the GT 6 on specifications if you want the higher-tier listed chipset or the additional rear camera and OIS main-camera hardware.
- Consider the GT 6T if it is meaningfully less expensive in your market and its listed chipset and two-camera setup meet your needs.
- Compare current local offers before paying more if the decision depends on value: the available evidence does not establish a current price premium for either model.
Whichever you consider, verify the exact regional model and current software status. The manufacturer specifications distinguish the hardware; independent tests and same-market prices are needed to judge real-world performance and value.
